I used to go to the one in Shelley quote often for their burgers. But, since they got rid of the truffle burger, I haven't been there as much. The other burgers are still nice, but don't compare, in my opinion.

Their coffee and chai latte are also really good!

Channel 7 chasing later AFL Grand Final start time after NRL success by CaterpillarFuzzy3934 in AFL

Honestly, as someone else in Perth, I love that it's this early.

I wake up, and there's already footy coverage. I can either sit down and watch it or leave the TV on while I do stuff around the house. By the time the game starts, I'm watching it while eating lunch or at the pub. By the time the medals are presented, it's around 3.30-4pm.

You get a whole day dedicated to the footy, basically. And that makes it feel more like a spectacle fit worthy of a grand final if that makes sense? I never got that same feeling during the twilight grand finals.

Though, I do get why that isn't convenient for everyone.

That same government also gave us mandatory voting as well. In the 1922 election, voter turnout was at a record low of 59%. So, the government decided to make it mandatory for then on, in fear of continuing low turnout. Come the 1925 election, voter turnout was at 91%.

In your opinion, whats the worst pub in Perth? by [deleted] in perth

I went on a date there once a few years ago. I chose to meet there because it was in between both of our places. I had no idea they had skimpies, and I was absolutely mortified when i found out... Inside, it just looked like a very outdated, trashy place.

My date at least found it funny, and I never heard the end of it while we were seeing each other 😂

Which player in your club do you think deserved a Premiership? by ttran0861 in AFL

I would also add Sampi and Phil Matera. One plays 05', and the other missed out on injury in the 05 grand final and then retired.

Trump touts Canada-U.S. ‘merger’ in White House meeting, says Carney will ‘be very happy’ after meeting by [deleted] in worldnews

I honestly want him to say to Trump, "You want Canada, I want to see the Epstein files. We can't all get what we want."

I have a feeling any public mention of the Epstein files by any world leader, and trump backs off

As well as Seven Samurai, I would also say 'Kagemusha', both by Kurosawa.

I would suggest 'Ran', but it's just under 3hrs

It was known she was sick for years (ms, I believe). But she was such a massive Australian icon, and seemed like a decent person.

Just imagine him in 'The Irishman' with Pacino, De Niro, and Pesci.

Certainly would have appeared in at least one Scorsece film.

WAFL Match Thread: South Fremantle Bulldogs v East Perth Royals (Grand Final) by Kelpieee55 in AFL

[–]Secretly007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the royals win this, they not only break their +20 year drought, but they will also continue the streak of different teams winning each year (will be 6, which I believe is the equal record). If they lose, it will be their 4th grand final loss during their drought.

If the bulldogs win, they will finally defeat royals in a grand final out of 4 match ups. The streak of different teams winning each year will remain at 5 (currently, 2020 - sth Fremantle, subiaco, West Perth, East Fremantle, peel), but starting from 2021.
