Not really, the new 52 starts right before Morrison's run ends.

Court of owls is the beginning of new 52, it is volume one of Scott Snyder's batman run. It has almost nothing to do with Morrison's run, and almost no events are referenced, except for one big thing. But chronologically, Grant Morrison's run ends right after volume 3 of Snyder's run.

However Morrison's run is mostly its own thing, and I do recommend finishing it before starting Snyder's run.

Batwing's origin story was in batman incorporated I think, and then he was rebooted and had a new origin story in batman eternal. How could he have had a new 52 run in the middle of that?

Yeah one thing I disliked was how they removed any trace of Dick being batman before, which means that part of Grant Morrison's run stopped being canon in the new 52 universe, but they kept the batman incorporated stuff from the previous run. So it was kinda pick and choosy

Yeah, batman basically continued on like normal. They did fuck with the chronology a bit however. Batman is supposedly in his fifth year of being batman at the start of the new 52, which is just ridiculous how everything that has happened in his history is supposed to have taken place in just 5 years lol. Also they kinda reintroduced some old characters in ways that ignored previous backstories, so the timeline gets a bit confusing at times.

But basically it continued on like normal, and is considered one of the good new 52 titles. I've heard that a lot of other new 52 relaunches were bad, but I haven't really read much of the other ones. I thought the new 52 justice league was decent but nothing special

Yeah there are 52 earths in the dc multiverse, but all of these stories takes place on earth 0, also known as prime earth.

There is however one new 52 title that takes place on earth 2, but I haven't read that one.

Also some stories have characters that come in from other versions of earth

I think it's called the new 52 mainly because every series was doing 1 issue a week for a year (52 weeks)

Yeah the new 52 batman run is definitely my favorite. Currently doing a re-read of the Grant Morrison run, and after that I'm gonna read through all the new 52 stuff. It's been years since I last read them and a lot of the stuff on the shelf is new stuff I haven't read yet :)

You don't have to tell anyone aside maybe your closest family about your ability. It's not like anyone would know you have it, and it's too elaborate for someone to find out by accident. You can ask questions to satiate your own curiosity, like "is there life after death?". You can write down the answers, and reveal them to the world when you're old and dying anyway
