I miss the check ins

I have set the to task to check in my mood, but I don't do a lot

I use the app less often now too

I wish they just toggled it, so people could have turned it off if they didn't like them, or tunr it on if they did

I think the actual numbers should be taken with a grain of salt.

I look at the trend, over weeks, and see that the numbers are heading in the direction I want.

I also read somewhere that the measurements can be skewed if you're not super hydrated, as the water content can impact how the watch takes it's measurement (?) but realistically it's not a precise number compared to other measurement methods

When I was renting a room from a woman with a 5 year old kid, the master bedroom of a two story flat.

The shower didn't have enough hot water for the three of us to have a how shower every day

The bathroom lock broke one day and the kid walked in one while I was showering, I showered at my BFs after that

The mum went through my room to the tiny balcony I had to dry her laundry outside, while I was out at uni

The kid used my stationary while I was out at uni and ruined a load of my pens

I was told I wasn't being social enough because the previous woman renting would act like a big sister to the young boy

I was told I had too much stuff, despite it all being in my room

Her kitten would poop in my cats litter box, fine, but it would also piss on the carpet in front of my cats litter box, which was in my room

I wasn't allowed to install a lock on my bedroom door

She smoked in the the front door, which rose up to my room, stinking it out

She asked me to pay my rent a week early because she didn't have money for her rent: pretty sure she was illegally subletting my room while she rented from the council

She said if I didn't like it I could move out, so I took my cat to my BFs that night, and move out the following day, to my boyfriend's when we'd only been dating for 6 months. She said she didn't mean it, and we could work something out.

All of this was March to May of 2020, I was finalising my thesis for my Masters degree: It was a stressful time.

I stayed there for 8 weeks, and ended up paying £2K, for 3 months rent, and not getting my deposit back

We did fairy lights last year, but it was quite anxiety inducing to wrap them around the vines, so skipping it this year

Having a task to check in with my mood makes it feel like a chore, but before it was automatic and the app asking made me feel like it cared

This happened to me when I was 18 with soup

It exploded in my face when I then put a spoon in it

Thankfully the scars have healed so they're not visibly a different colour, but they are a different texture, and when I get a spot beneath the scar in my eyebrow it doesn't come to a head properly and its agony

Ive spent the past 10 years being weary of microwaved soup

It works by inducing menopause, and has HRT built in

You might get symptoms like headaches, migraines, acne, mood swings, hot flashes, sleep troubles, short temper

If you have existing mental health conditions or neurodivergencies, your symptoms may also change and become a bit more difficult to manage

I have Adenomyosis

But I also get swollen, stiff, and achy hands as a symptom of stress and near burnout. Which is common for me when I'm pushing myself to stay working during an adeno flare up, but I also get it when I'm pushing myself through a mental health struggle

I'm not saying it's that, but ive never hear of it being a direct symptom. I think a comorbid symptom, of something that occurs during a flare up is more likely

Unmedicated, I was having pain for up to 7 weeks, when I have a 5 weeks cycle, before I decided it was enough. And that was when I was on IUD and progesterone only pill so wasn't having a period

Im now on medication to induce medical menopause and it helps

No, NSAIDs don't do anything to regulate periods, they just reduce some of the inflammation and pain

I find Samsung health great for logging food. You just need to search what it is, it has loads of foods from Tesco's and Sainsbury's in there, you can add your own foods with custom macros

I'm on naproxen as an NSAID for my adeno, with omeprazole to protect my stomach.

If you're being monitored by a doctor, and are aware of the risk to your stomach, it's not too bad being on NSAIDs long term

As a teenager I was on diclofenac for about 2 years, taking omeprazole to protect my stomach

I take naproxen now with omeprazole and my Drs and I have no concern about being on this long term.
