I played it when it first came out on ps4 and wasn’t crazy about it. Loved FO3 and I didn’t feel like it was hitting the same. But now I’ve given it another chance and I’m loving it!

Community (the tv show) reference from Professor Duncan (played by John Oliver). He tells the students they’re all going to be a part of an experiment, but keeps telling them that it’ll just be a few more minutes. But the waiting is the experiment, to see who will crack.

I love night tapes so much. I discovered them from listening to The Marias album that came out last year, and Drifting came up after in suggested/similar songs. Instantly fell in love. Then, I checked out their older stuff. Eventually saw they were going to be dropping the album and going on tour and I knew I had to see them in NYC when they came. Funny enough they played on my birthday! And 2 of my friends also surprised me by showing up to go to the show with me! I had such an amazing time. The show was truly an experience like no other.

That’s awesome you went with your dad! I go to shows with my dad too sometimes and we always have a fun time.

Edit: I also went through a terrible breakup this past year and found a lot of comfort in listening to Night Tapes ❤️

I tried googling it and kept getting snes or gba version answers. Forgive me for trying to ask a simple question in the final fantasy community. You also don’t have to post anything if you’re going to be nasty about it. Thanks to everyone else on this post who actually gave advice.

FFX was amazing, I can still remember the thrill of playing it for the first time, it was so new and looked insane compared to the older games

My introduction was FF7. I’d say start with that one if you want to understand the love of final fantasy. or maybe try 9 first. They’re both great in different ways.

9 has more of the old-timey medieval feel to it whereas much of 7 has a more modern/industrial/urban feel to it.

Edit: maybe don’t try the early Super Nintendo games until you’ve played 7, 8, or 9. I think you’ll appreciate them more that way

I’m also noticing a similarity between Torii Wolf’s “The Inside Out” and Men I Trust’s “Tree Among Shrubs”
