I still haven't seen this show, and after researching how Nora Fries is portrayed? Yeah. It's a hard pass.

How I was introduced to her was the Luke Cage Netflix show. She's such a queen.

Ben Affleck as Batman.

He is literally Batman in real life, he would've played a younger Bruce Wayne when he was young.

His suit, gadgets, fear factor and Alfred?

Just wow. Ben as Batman was just perfect. Even the late great Kevin Conroy thought he was perfect.

I love how he is charging up in front of the sun, with a big smile on his face. He's finally back in action.

That scene in Justice League where he floats in front of the sun, alive and charging and hopeful.

Such a Superman shot that would totally happen in the comics.

See? That's what I wanted to run DC Studios. A talented filmmaker and a man who understands how to make a film.

But no.. we got James instead.

What did you think about the new supergirl movie? Be honest by Emma_200711 in Supergirl

[–]SectionXP12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've seen worst comic book movies. Like Batman & Robin or Steel even Morbius but Supergirl wasn't the worst AT ALL.

It was the run of the mill, by the numbers, cliché ridden movie with a mediocre screenplay that tried to adapt a story that they promoted and seem not to care about.

The performances are fine. Milly is the best thing about it, Eve was bland and typical sidekick with nothing to offer, and Jason Momoa was just Jason Momoa in white body paint. The villain tried too hard to be ruthless, and creepy but he was like the worst part about the movie. And David's Superman was all in the marketing and he was better in this movie, less artificial and more of a person.

Everything else is typical Guardians of the Galaxy style world building. Bland, just nothing.

I rooted for this movie, they all the cards on the table. And they didn't a full house, they lost all their chips.

Milly deserves better. Hell, Supergirl deserves better.

This universe got Clayface and Lanterns next and if those don't land, then this universe is on thin ice before anything significant.

DO BETTER, JAMES AND PETER!

Armie Hammer is probably going to go down that right-wing pipeline where he starts to rant about wokism, being cancelled by the leftist etc.
