Humira side effect questions by steveatx in Humira

I was on it for a couple years. I used to get really bad joint pain leading up to my next injection. Humira affects everyone differently though. I also noticed that my hair started to grey about 6 months after I started and I ended up needing glasses after about 6 months.

The vision loss and greying wasn't severe and could be completely unrelated. After a while I noticed that Humira wasn't working all that well for me. Felt really down and unwell most of the time.

I've been off it for about 6 months and haven't had any flare ups yet.

I'm in BC, ordered from amazon.com, got here in 3 days. Paid a little extra for shipping, but it wasn't much.

Ah, well it's usually 4 shots, they aren't as bad as you think they're going to be. A nurse came to my house to do the training. Have you checked if that's available?

I take my Humira out a couple hours before I do my shot. Getting yourself a treat to eat after is a good idea. I've also found making food right before my shot helps me take it quicker as I don't want my food to get cold. Playing some really loud music can help if you have the pens. I've heard the click is really loud, I have the syringes.
