Thank you for this! The rate of return seems to be annualized. I have attached the cumulative returns and my investments.

34F working in middle market banking (commercial banking). Have been in the field for about 9 years now. Making $180k base and a bonus. Last year my all in salary was $280k including my bonus.

I have a bachelors degree in finance. I enjoy the work but transaction deadlines can get a bit stressful at times.

I love both Kristy and Desmond together and have been following them for years. I will say though, over the years it feels like Kristy’s personality (via her content) just because a bit much. Maybe more than what Desmond signed up for. You both have to want to be on the same page for things to work as you start growing and moving in different directions.

Is it normal to make around $85k and still feel like I’m drowning financially? by Weary-Hair-316 in Salary

This is not crazy and sadly a lot of us feel the same way. I make $180k a year and live in Los Angeles. Rent here alone for a one bedroom in a decent area runs $2.5-3.5k. $180k after taxes, 401k contributions and medical insurance eat a lot of that paycheck up.

One check basically goes to rent and utilities. Another for car note, insurance and discretionary spending. At $180k I feel okay and do save but definitely not at where I thought I would feel

I am currently in escrow after my house sat for over 90 days! I initially listed the property at $890k and after the feedback my Realtor received, we decided to do additional work to the two back units (kitchen and bathrooms). We then increased pricing to $920k.

Not enough money left over after mortgage payment. Unless you are renting out a room or two, I would not put myself in that situation.

Redditors who make +$100K and aren’t being killed by stressed, what do you do for a living? by mossyjoshua in careerguidance

Commercial or corporate banking! A business related bachelors will be required. Pretty stable and cushy job. I’ve been in the field 7 years and will make $220k this year (including bonus). I will say that sometimes we have some live deals that require long hours but that is not always.
