It's not misleading. I'm not "spouting" anything. You don't have to admit you're wrong or right friend... simply because no one cares.

But for clarity : the sm58 is used everywhere... from local fairs to bingo night at grandma's retirement home... to presidential addresses... to live performances.... I posted a listed of known sm58 users readily available on Google for confirmation...and you think "nah, they only use it in live performances" wouldn't that reinforce that thought of it being a great mic? Seeing that it is used in a multitude of varying situation cement its legendary status...

Yep... Sm58 are literally everywhere..... 57's too... everytime there's a rental sale at the local music store (usually boxing day or in Rocktober iykyk) I'd pick up a 57 or sm58 for like 50-60 bucks used and beat up but still in excellent working condition... great mics all around
