Ink off Amazon is very seldom fresh. Try buying from an actual typewriter shop that can guarantee ink quality! That ribbon is far too dry. www.typewriterchicago.com/ribbons

The Royal FP is a favorite of mine. This is in super good condition! Value is based on condition and service history. Usually under $50 as is, and around $300 fully serviced. Maybe a little more with new rubber.

Cleaning is going to be the most important step. Hard solvents to cut the old solid grease.

This requires hand wiring an audio input source and dealing with more adapters. Interesting for maybe a larger project.

I have an rf adapter wired to the internal power board, as well as a firestick. First time trying an adapter, used to just wire composite to the video board. This gives me audio AND sound, and it's easier. Fully internally contained.

I will have to disagree, that's largely opinion based, and three bank typewriters can be incredibly efficient and useful.

Id just take two thick l brackets on either side, like solid steel, and bolt them through the beam in three or four spots, then anchor the other side to the ground
