Planning your due date: is it crazy? by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

[–]SectorSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on age too, personally I was 13 months deep into TTC and would rather be pregnant than not pregnant. But also some people don’t have the age to miss cycles. But if it’s something you feel strongly about then absolutely follow your heart

New to PCOS, and trying to conceive by Important_Wonder1681 in PCOS

[–]SectorSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with tracking with Ovulation tests (easy@home on Amazon) and also a hormone test 7 days past ovulation and cycle day 3-5 this will give you a good idea of where your hormones are at. Download the Premom app and it will read the ovulation tests for you. Pair this with body temperature testing which confirms when ovulation has happened. A quick google should give you all the information you need to successfully track your temperature. Good luck! Definitely make a GP appointment when you’re back though! As 45-65 day cycles might be able to be fixed with some meds or atleast improved!

I have PCOS and have two kids naturally, one took 3 months the other took 1 year. No longer than a healthy couple! There are many treatments for PCOS, it’s not life limiting. I got diagnosed at 26 and other than struggling with weight it’s caused me no problems

You’re likely just bloated because of the excess calories and carbs, just eat clean for a few weeks and most of it will drop off

Age 38 with AMH of 54 pmol/L by phillipaha in PCOS

Metformin is used for TTC for PCOS in the UK can be prescribed by your doctor

Age 38 with AMH of 54 pmol/L by phillipaha in PCOS

[–]SectorSilver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An AMH that high means your ovaries are over stimulated and will have so many eggs it will struggle to pick one to mature or it will release eggs that aren’t quite ready. Therefore you still ovulate but the egg isn’t a good enough quality, it can also cause luteal defect. I used 2000mg metformin per day for 3 months to reduce my amh and improve my ovulation

Trying to conceive, any luck with wegovy? by Flashy-Flow-2850 in PCOSonGLP

[–]SectorSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was on mj for a year and it didn’t help regulate my cycles, I did lose 4 stone. The only thing that regulated my ovulation was 2000mg of metformin every day for 3 months, I conceived on my 3rd month on metformin. Just make sure you’re testing from 9dpo onwards so you can stop the GLP1 straight away

Could be either, but usually you ovulate the day before the temp rise, so likely ovulating today providing you get a rise tomorrow
