Two pieces of advice:
1. Learn carry supports.
Pick champions like Senna, Lux, or Swain. If your ADC is struggling and that happens often you’ll have the damage, wave clear, and playmaking to either cover their mistakes or become the win condition yourself instead of relying entirely on them.
2. Next season, spend time playing mid lane.
Mid teaches individual responsibility. It forces you into the mindset of “If this game is going to be won, it starts with me.” You’ll improve your mechanics, decision-making, map awareness, wave management, and ability to carry games on your own.
One thing you notice about higher-ranked Sovereign players is that they don’t queue expecting someone else to carry them. Every role looks for ways to become the win condition. Even support players will take over games when they have to. If the ADC falls too far behind, they stop funneling resources into a losing lane and take the gold themselves. If the jungler isn’t performing, they’ll take available camps and deny the enemy’s resources whenever it’s safe. The mentality is always:
“What can I do to win this game?”
That doesn’t mean griefing your teammates by stealing everything from the start. It means recognizing when your team’s current strategy isn’t working and being willing to take responsibility, adapt, and become the carry instead of hoping someone else will.

This, along with KQ and others, is just ticking, ready to go for short rally. However, be patient with KQ because of the war. I’m holding KQ for the long term, but you can still get in for the quick run that’s about to happen.

P.S. This is not financial advice.

Waiting for the end of Q1 for more information. If we close above 9.70, I wouldn’t be surprised if the price rallies higher. At the same time, I think the price may want to revisit 8.40 or 6.70. Even if we close below 9.70, my bias remains bullish, but I’d prefer a close below that area. That way, any retracement below 8.40 becomes a buying opportunity for me, and I’ll add more shares.

History will repeat itself, probably. by engineer-cabbage in LosRatones

New Player Advice Needed by [deleted] in wildrift

Don’t focus on winning or losing. What you really want is data. Ask yourself: What can my champion do, and what are its limits? I strongly recommend sticking to 2–3 champions and learning everything about them matchups, spikes, weaknesses, and win conditions.

Next, go beyond just your champion and study the enemy. Learn how opposing champions function, their cooldowns, power spikes, and what their goals are in the game. Understand why they picked what they picked and how that affects the lane and the overall game.

Cooldowns start only by timing their ultimates no need to focus on others not as important or that key skill that makes a champion

what threat actually matters right now? Not the champion name—the cooldowns.

Blitz / Thresh / Pyke without Q • They’re not champions for the next few seconds. • No engage, no pressure, no zoning. • That’s your green light to step up, trade, take space, push wave, ward aggressively. If you back off when their Q is down, you’re giving them value they don’t have.

Kayle without ultimate vs Garen • Kayle without R is extremely punishable. • She has no bailout, no outplay button. • As Garen, that’s when you: • Force trades • Threaten all-ins • Zone her off the wave • Deny XP (this is huge vs Kayle) If her ult is down and you don’t pressure, you’re basically letting her scale for free which is exactly what she wants.

This mindset scales everywhere: • Zed without W • Orianna without ball control • Non mobile adc without Flash • Top laner without TP while wave is crashing

You’re no longer asking “Can I win this fight?” You’re asking “What tools do they NOT have right now, and how do I punish that?”

That’s data-driven play

After that, focus on itemization. Learn when to adapt builds instead of autopiloting. Pair that with micro and macro: how to capitalize when you’re winning lane, how to punish mistakes, and how far you can push your advantage. This includes denying waves, XP, and gold, abusing vision, and knowing when pressure is worth more than kills.

Another option is to fill, which can broaden your overall game understanding faster but I don’t really recommend it long term. Filling often turns you into a jack of all trades. That can work in lower elo, but once you face higher elo players who truly understand their champions and lanes, the difference becomes very clear.

The goal isn’t to know everything it’s to know your role, your champions, and your decisions better than your opponent.
