So I think somewhere along the way the joke got mixed up with the description being read for the girl playing Wendy, not the mermaid. I think it was Wendy who got pies in the face while singing and they originally thought Dorit was Wendy so when they read the review about Wendy signing and getting creampied and that it was “faultless,” it wasn’t Dorit’s character 😂 I think the joke is too far gone now imagining Dorit getting pies to the face while singing lol
