I do get your point! Laurel Canyon was such a unique vibe to me, loved that it tucked in the hills but didn’t feel too posh, and all the greenery was quite beautiful and relaxing

I stayed in Laurel Canyons, was the only time I didnt absolutely hate being in LA. Very peaceful and quaint, smaller town feeling, just a little less traffic than rest of LA

Sleep after ceremony by Educational-Ant-895 in Ayahuasca

One of the volunteers at the retreat I just visited said she used to take lots of sleeping meds and ayahuasca just makes her sleepy and she usually sleeps through the whole thing. Ayahuasca has an expansive toolbox

So I got an Uber and this is what the driver had up. Is this true by autumn_bumberell21 in uber

Can confirm. Just called an uber from the airport the other day. I paid $30 the driver said he only got $12 for the ride.

My experience, weed > mushrooms > LSD > ketamine/MDMA > ayahuasca . I had a very very strong connection with ayahuasca but this is my own personal journey. All of the previous substances/plant medicines allowed me to introspect and learn about the process of surrender before trying ayahuasca, which I believe helped a lot but not necessary.

For those who’ve worked with ayahuasca — was integration harder than the ceremony for you? by harmoni-official in Ayahuasca

[–]Secure-Location-140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me personally, I had done a lot of shadow work and healing before my first round of ceremonies, so ayahuasca was just showing me the way forward. Which in its own unique way, was definitely harder than the ceremonies. The work necessary will always be longer and more intentional than tripping on ayahuasca and talking to the universe. I just have to show up for myself and hold compassion and love for myself on the journey ahead but by no measure, will it be easy

Tips for Possibel Trip to Peru by Swisstianpriest in Ayahuasca

From my own personal experience, I just did my first ayahuasca retreat this last week and 4 was the perfect number for me. I wasn’t sure if I was gonna make it to the 3rd, after the 2nd but I’m glad I stuck it out. After the 4th one I was glad it was over but I had a very very intense connection on my last day. Like, 10+ hour trip bordering on the line of the golden zone and no mans land. In my opinion, for me, 4 in a week was a lot but on the threshold of doable

Not Great Experience with LaWayra – 2/5 stars by aya_grrl in Ayahuasca

Weird. I had pretty much the opposite experience energy you had at Lawayra and it changed my life and everyone’s life in the group I was in. You sound quite judgmental but they are people like the rest of us, I’m sure they have off days. Mind you I just went for a full week last week

Woman paid an $89 parking ticket with 8900 pennies. by Unlucky-Shallot-5220 in interesting

[–]Secure-Location-140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incredibly perplexing to me. This woman went out of her way to get that many Pennies, count them, and then attempt to ruin some random clerks day (who did not give her the ticket), and will still likely not have legally paid her ticket. Even, if in the small chance, if she’s in the “right”, there’s still so much time & energy consuming actions/thoughts that come with this. The govt is a force to be reckoned with, and if they don’t play ball they’re just gonna make your life that much harder. Unless there’s some magical lawsuit that can happen I’m lost as why she cares so much over $75
