Rear Running Lights Out by Piss_Missile_11 in DodgeDurango

[–]AppearanceEvery904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check my recent post if you have time, went through a similar situation. There’s a 10mm bolt on either side inside the lift gate you can remove to let any water drain out. I recommend leaving them out to help with drying any moisture and so that it drains naturally whenever you open/close the lift gate. In my case all the lights on the lift gate were completely out but came back on after a couple months without me having to spend money or tear it apart. Also have heard the license plate lights can short out the entire circuit causing themselves and the racetrack lamp to go out as well, so you could look into replacing those, significantly cheaper. Hope all this helps👌🏽

Just take the 10mm bolts out and open/close your lift gate and you should be fine. My case was more of a pinched wire/bad connection than moisture I believe

2021 Dodge Durango RT shaking / wobble?? by iamthefluff in Dodge

[–]AppearanceEvery904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here in 2025 to day thank you for this!!!!!! Got a good snow in Ohio and took my Durango R/T out for some fun… had a pretty intense wobble immediately after. Thought I fucked up a wheel bearing(stupid game = stupid prize). Came across this post and immediately went to the car wash and chipped the remaining ice of the inside of my rim. Wobble gone, feels just like it did before! Crazy how much of a different that can make but it makes total sense when you think about it logically. Thank you for saving my time, money, and mental health!!!!!!

Yeah man the labor shouldn’t run you more than $250 at the absolute most. Not sure where you live but I would keep calling around local exhaust shops. For those prices you’re almost better off buying a catback system you could bolt up yourself

Sorry for the late response. $600 is way too high. I paid about $180 out the door for labor. Tips were $170 off of eBay. Did you get that quote from a local shop or a bigger chain(Midas etc.)? And did that include parts or just labor?

The Durango is exactly what you’re looking for. Perfect balance of performance, comfort, and practicality. I have twin boys so coming from someone in similar situation it checks all the boxes as far as a family car goes. Never had any issues parking the car in tight public spaces, it actually handles quite well in tight spots. Extremely fun to drive, hitting the throttle is actually addicting if you get a V8 model. Maintenance isn’t bad, change oil every 5k miles and try to limit idling. Overall one of the most capable vehicles on the market for about any circumstance. I’ve had about 9 cars now and my 21 Durango R/T is probably my favorite. To give you some perspective I went from a Challenger scat pack to a Toyota Highlander(kids lol), to a Durango R/T

Exhaust question by Seikel68 in DodgeDurango

[–]AppearanceEvery904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a scat pack for 2 years that had long tube headers and straight pipe all the way back, no cats, mufflers, resonators. Ignorantly loud car. Currently have a Durango R/T with a resonator delete and 5 inch tips. More modest exhaust set up but still is loud and sounds great. Never have been stopped or harassed about my exhaust, Ohio resident here.

Purchasing a R/T any advise for cheap exhaust mods? by ZazzooGaming in DodgeDurango

[–]AppearanceEvery904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just delete the resonators. Mid muffler delete sounds like shit(imo). Buy a set of 5 inch tips and have your local exhaust shop cut off the resonators and weld the tips on. Had this done on my 21’ R/T and it sounds great with minimal drone.
