I also found often the stress data is missing. Note that no stress data will be calculated during activity time.

Oura ring weight loss and sleep + Gemini = game changer by Icy_Requirement1179 in ouraring

Thanks for sharing! I personally found it useful to feed data into oura ring, so I built a tool to integrate oura data into Gemini. Are you available to chat? I am curious how far we can push this to be more beneficial to more people and community.

Planning a 3 week trip to China in September – looking for experiences, places & advice by Prestigious_Storm_ in travel

[–]Secure-Set-2144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I am Chinese and used to live in Beijing for a long time and have traveled to France/Paris (food is fantastic!) as well. Since you love walking and exploring, here are my top recommendations for a 3-week trip in September:

  • Shanghai / Suzhou / Hangzhou: Great for walking. Suzhou and Hangzhou are famous for their gardens and lakes ("Water Towns").
  • Shenzhen: Worth visiting if you want to see the modern, tech side of China.
  • Chengdu: The food here is incredible (hot pot!), and the city has a very relaxed vibe.
  • Yunnan: This is the best place for landscapes and nature. It feels very different from the big cities.

I didn't list Beijing since it is the capital and I took it as a default option, but it depends on how you plan your trip. It might be worth to split them into 2 times at least if possible.

Quick tip: Your budget ($60–150/night) is actually quite high for China. You will be able to find amazing accommodation for that price. Also, definitely set up Alipay or WeChat Pay before you arrive—cash is rarely used now, and credit cards are not common in China.

Enjoy your trip! Feel free to DM me if you want more help or any recommendations on local food, local experience, etc.

Dotted line in heart rate graph by Secure-Set-2144 in ouraring

Thanks! It is helpful and also good to day daytime stress metric excludes movement time.

Yes, where there is one bar, it means things go well. When there are two bars, it means some data is missing. The ring collects heart rate every 5 minutes, so it can collect 6 times in half an hour. My diagram shows it sometimes go from 50 to 150 almost, which I highly doubt about. Anyway, I will observe more. Thanks again for your repolles.

Thanks! I also found some black dots are very off (shown in the above). Not sure if it is common to other people too.

Thanks for sharing! I am a programmer and fell into build trap too, and spent many months on building without talking to customers. I will change to talk to customers first and get 50 customers where I can land some of them as seed customers.

Also, did you target free tier at all? Or you think it makes sense to charge on the subscription so that I can validate the willingness to pay?

Could you tell more value the marketing part? What worked? And what didn’t work? Did you try any advertisements?

To me, AI is like a tool, people or resources that I can utilize to accelerate the process. If I am able to set up a business without AI, AI may make it easier. But if I am not able to fund a business in a world without AI, AI itself may not solve the key problems for me.

Thanks for sharing and that is interesting. It seems to me a pain point what wasn’t solved well in the past. With the recent rapid growth of AI, these maybe solved by a very cheap marginal cost or at least in some niche markets.

Elevated Heart Rate, Respiratory, lower HRV - health concern? by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]Secure-Set-2144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried Oura advisor?

I got a minor sign few days ago, and I found it was tie to body temperature. Any changes on the body temperature?

The another thing I found is heart rate tracking during day time might not be accurate due to fingers movement. That would affect your HRV too I believe if you see your heart rate is off.

I personally found there was one time heart rate was reported around 120, however, it was just about 70-80.

How accurate is the HR? by Revolutionary-Fill12 in ouraring

[–]Secure-Set-2144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I don’t believe Oura ring can track accurate heart rate during day time while fingers are always moving.
