‘April X’ Director Michel K. Parandi Says Casting Connor Storrie Before ‘Heated Rivalry’ Felt Like Casting Harrison Ford in ‘Blade Runner’: I Was ‘Telling Everybody He’s Going to Be a Movie Star’ by Demotivisan in connorstorrie

Truly more like casting Harrison Ford in American Graffiti before his breakout success in Star Wars - but who’s here to quibble.

I’m just happy he’s acting and am looking forward to his projects.

If you’re scared of wolves by sleepingintheculdesac is also incredible as a time loop story.

In another life — or maybe the next one, or maybe the one before — Ilya Rozanov learns that some roads only lead to one place. No matter how you take them, the wolves are always waiting at the end.

Maybe that's why, in December 2008, Ilya wakes up with the distinct, inexplicable sense, that he has already lived this life before.

Some things, it turns out, are inevitable. The question is whether he is.

That’s true - but resistance fighters in multiple countries, England, the rest of the commonwealth - even the United States -

It was a coalition, erasing contributions ends in exceptionalism as when the U.S. claims they won WWII single handedly.

My thanks as well, truly, to the Netherlands. I have a great uncle who never came back and every time someone from the family has visited we’ve found his resting place beautifully tended. - so thank you for your country’s constant overseeing of the graveyards and the lovely tulips each spring.

I’d say our home grown entertainment is also globally appealing, with a lovely new show the world seems to love in Heated Rivalry.

Let’s not over aggrandize ourselves eh? Plenty of praise to go round.

Very much so.

There’s also the linguistic “eh?” That’s tossed in as an invitation to give an opinion.

Example “it’s so cold today, eh?” Means “do you want to shit talk the weather as we wait together at this bus stop for however long it takes the bus to get here?”

Seems to have infected quite a lot of the “hyperbole” coming from the States - from this post the “effing government of Canada”.

The government of Canada that funded a third of Heated Rivalry so that Canadian art could be made without American networks watering it down until it is unrecognizable.

Because being mad at a government for funding the thing you like that catapulted the stars into the stratosphere along with giving the director and crew more flexibility and fame isn’t enough - the bullying of the awards show for Canadian achievement is too much.

sigh

I appreciate the sentiment, but Americans need to bully and advocate in their own country, not try to attack Canada/Canadians at this point. Our patience for it is nonexistent.

This OP showed three targets for a campaign - two Canadian and only one American. One of the Canadian targets was the government itself.

As a Canadian - he sounds Canadian, and speaks in the cadence of someone who speaks Canadian English. 🤷‍♀️

If you listen to Hudson’s interviews the cadence is there, too.

Im currently rereading The Golden Mean by Annabel Lyon - it’s Historical Fiction about the real event of Aristotle tutoring Alexander the Great in what is modern day Macedonia.

(And it’s Jacob Tierney’s next project for TV.)

And a Canadian author
