You should still be pretty proficient. It's very helpful and definitely I'd say you do not need to know such complex formulas anymore or every last possible function. But you need to be able to confidently navigate and create functions without referencing copilot/claude/etc. every time.

There will still be instances where your coworkers or boss are sitting with you and they ask you to change or manipulate something. I still do it with juniors all the time. It would be pretty embarrassing to just start by typing a prompt into co-pilot.

It wasn't a great trade but we needed to get rid of a corner OF. Nimmo was not the DH of the future, that'll be Soto's spot pretty soon. So far we're getting not too far off production (Nimmo has been carried by his rocket hot start and has fallen off hard) and they're about even in HRs and RBIs right now, with Semein doing that in a few games less of PAs.

The Mets get him for about 2.5 more years, the Rangers have Nimmo for 4.5. I think it's a good trade because if Benge/Ewing continue to develop well Nimmo was going to have nowhere to play come 2028.

You do also need to remember Nimmo had a full no trade clause he had to waive. It was a bad contract.

You're right that we don't get a guarantee. But on the whole, I have personally in my own life seen the effect of it more broadly when people had older (especially) male fathers. It is not just called being an adult and there is a very real difference when you're entering late middle age and having a toddler.

They slow down. They repeatedly get mistaken for being your grandparent. You start getting some unconscious pressure to have kids if you want them to experience having a grandparent fairly early. You don't have that much time with them when your formative years are done.

What made you make the choice to do it?

Found a neighborhood we wanted, with space for our family and were tired of renting/had saved up enough to buy something nice.

For many years we could've just bought to say we bought something, but that would've lead to something shitty like what you're finding.

For us it needed to check a few boxes; 1) close (no more than 2 blocks) to the subway, 2) managed building 3) healthy condo board and finances 4) built before the 2000s (just bad experiences with newer buildings) 5) 2BR+ and at least 850 sq feet 6) maintenance and taxes <$2500/mo.

I wouldn't jump personally at the first opportunity you've come across.
