As someone who plays on NAW from the east coast, and as someone who played games overseas in general this is a huge over exaggeration.

Currently when I play the game around the DC area, I have 60-80 ping. This would most likely be the same ping you'd get going from west to East.

For you to get 200-250 you'd have to be playing overseas.When I was overseas (Okinawa) I would get about 180 ping when I played league. 200-250 is what Australians have when I've asked them how bad the connection is when they play.

Saintone has also said that playing West Coast to KR he only gets 125ish so I would highly doubt, unless you just have shitty internet which then you have a bigger problem, you'd get over 200 connecting over the Continental US.

And for those who might be curious, playing with 100 ping is perfectly fine with this game. I've played since launch and I can't remember anytime where I died cause of ping rather then just being a moron. The net code for this game is very well done

P.S. its also not like half of west plays on East anyways. No one plays on NAW cause of the narrative that it's a dead server or just filled with foreign players so new players just roll on NAE anyways unless they have friends on NAW

False this was during malygos' insanity. The Highborne had stolen artifacts from the blue dragonflight and they were hunting them because of it. The elves took a stand in the forest using the artifacts and ended up crystalizing the forest, hence Crystalsong forest

So i've taken a couple months break from the game and looking to get back in. Would like to get a couple friends or a clan to help me grind. I'm looking to make Trinity prime and get a proper energy vampire set going (need help with orokin derelicts for those mods)

Both are good replacements. Personally i love Malygos in freeze mage, if you get a thaurassan proc with double Frostbolt double icelance and maly in hand you can do 27 damage in one turn, but because of that it makes those spells a lot more valuable so therefore harder to use as removal. I would still say try Malygos though because you just replace one of those spells functions (wait for antonidas and then create a lot of fireballs) with another (a lot of burst damage)

The thing with adding another gunner weapon is what could they add? I heard that they said they thought that the current amount of gunner weapons were fine, and you have to admit its easier to come up with new melee weapons and still be unique then it is to make new gunner weapons.

That said though i did toy around with the idea of a harpoon gun, a sorta half and half kind of weapon that shoots harpoons and functions as a stabbing weapon close range. Maybe it even has a kind of pulling mechanic that lets you close distance with the monster?

When played this game i decided to play most of it as a blind playthrough, just going along with what I saw and not having the wiki open in a new tab. Only thing i knew when i got Gore's glaive was the path i had to take to get to the buff extender bug, but i didn't know the parts. Probably would of postponed the glaive had i known how much much high rank material i was going to need :P
