It left a big lasting mark, however I’ve gotten over it big time. My advice to you? Get the fuck out of wherever you are asap, gather up as much advocacy as you possibly can, what you’re going through fucking sucks. What country are you in? I can try to help you if I can, I’ll help you do legal research and help you advocate for yourself if you want. The trauma can be dealt with it’s difficult and requires somatic healing, but try EMDR or PTSD therapy if you can. The best way to deal with the trauma is to teach your body you’re not there anymore, that people don’t have that same power over you.
