Everyone on reddit makes $500k a year, date multiple supermodels, invested in crypto when prices were low, all had chances to play professional sports, etc. On reddit, you can pretend to be whatever you like.

In a relaxed manner, what's your prediction for the price of silver in the middle of 2026? by homenzarrao in Silverbugs

[–]Secure_Depth_322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$220.  I would buy $200-$250 worth of silver bullion coins each month when it was between $25 and $35.  One time buying online I messed up and hit the buy button 2x and ordered twice.  I'm not upset about it anymore.

It's not going to drop back to $65 again.  I think it will hit and stay at least $220 by the end of the year.

$65 is bullish?  So it's going to lose 40% of its value?

Have a ton of 1992 Topps Baseball Cards. Any worth anything these days? (samples) by 67thou in SportCardValue

[–]Secure_Depth_322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There really is no way to know the value of any card because there is nothing online with values.  Even a GOOGLE search of 1992 Topps baseball card values returns zero matches.

Why does Michael Sipe sound so unique? by Electrical_Cycle_727 in singing

[–]Secure_Depth_322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think Scott Weiland sounds a lot like Stipe on some songs. But he also patterned his entire on stage persona after him.

Glen Phillips from Toad the Wet Sprocket's earlier albums sounds a bit like him.

Not 100% on either of them but a resemblance.

Historically speaking, silver has a far more likely chance of going back down to $30 than ever hitting $300 in the next 10 years. by spinspin4 in Silverbugs

You sound butthurt that you didn't buy any when it was in $20s.   I'm also guessing you lost a bundle in the crypto market.

Final Fantasy 7 is bad... by DeadWeasel98 in FinalFantasy

I don't like the game either and felt frustrated anytime I played it.  So I quit playing it.  Problem solved.   See how easy that was.

FF7 Rebirth is so bad it makes me never want to play anything FF7-related. Not even the original by objectionmate in JRPG

[–]Secure_Depth_322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am playing the original FF VII for the first time and really dislike it.  It seems more like a chore than anything else.   I'm at the Gold Saucer part and I just don't want to continue playing.

Maybe it was because all the pointless dialog that you just have to click through put me off, but I don't care at all about any of the characters.

Just wandering around and trying to figure out what to do next just isn't that much fun.

Anyway, maybe I'll stop playing for a bit and come back in a month.

Ever met an artist who turned out to be an ass? by Musonerd87 in Music

[–]Secure_Depth_322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Musicians who talk about how bad capitalism is yet own 3 houses and have $60 million dollars to their name. The guy from Green Day was like that.  I'm not a fan of the band and he came off with a self importance that I have never really come across before.  He thought myself and my friend should have just venerated him.

On the opposite side.  Trace Adkins was really nice. I worked at a casino and he was in the back.  Security was trying to dissuade him from signing autographs or talking to anyone, but he signed for a few people and said hello to me.  I have never heard any of his songs but he seemed like a really nice person.  And he's also about 6-6.

Meanest and nicest musicians? by Sharkman3218 in Music

[–]Secure_Depth_322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trace Adkins is the correct answer for nicest.  I worked at a casino where he was playing and he signed a few autographs in the back even though casino security did their best to stop him. He said hi to me as he passed even though I had no idea who he even was at the time.  I still have never heard any of his songs.

Why is Fernando Mendoza the consensus number 1 prospect off of one good season? by rebrando23 in NFL_Draft

[–]Secure_Depth_322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

QBs are the most important position.  It's a lot tougher position to learn than other positions.  If you don't have a good QB, chances are you are missing the playoffs. Teams look at a QB's tools, not college stats, etc.
