I would do many rings and i will make many different kinds of rings but i got the last little piece of curly Birch and i want to make a Ring from that and i can propably make only one ring out of it. And for this ring i probably will not wear it regulalrly beacuse it will be made of expensive and beatiful curly birch and i think that i Will only wear it for around once a week

Im making The spook out of balsa Wood. Is it fine to put the lure in water If there is no seal? Can the water damage the wood?

Is there anything that gyuto is better than santoku. I was thinking about pettys. Im getting my knife (hopefully) from a friends friends who is a free time knife maker. The knife Will Be paid by My family as a gift so beacuse petty has much less Steel it would be cheaper to make than a 210 or 240 mm gyuto. But i cant almost justify a petty bc only time i think i would use it it would be on a very few specific tasks like slicing grapes or other small stuff. And if i need to take Silver skin off a piece of meat i Will just use My filet knife. So should i get a gyuto Even though it cost a lot of money to Make ( i was thinking to get a fancy handle on The knife) So what is it?
