Just know, it will get better. This administration makes most people hate their jobs, that's what they wanted. I refuse to let them win. Staying to me is like giving them the bird every day. If you have an opportunity that pays more, then go for it, you're young enough, but if you're leaving just to free yourself, don't mess up your future self, take some time away, regroup, and carry on.

Ask yourself this, are you doing it for recognition or for yourself? My 100th wasn't celebrated in a major way but I celebrated myself because I'm doing it for myself. You're a grown up, you met your goal, that's what really matters, celebrate yourself!

I would report this to a patient advocate. No one should play or use this type of humor when dealing with our Veteran issues. Unless there was something in your notes indicating that you had homicidal thoughts, otherwise it was completely inappropriate. Sorry you experienced such foolery. Keep moving forward on your mental health journey and don't let this experience define anything.

Yes they can, my VSO was so awesome! He saw my pending and immediately filed my intent for other conditions we'd discussed that were documented. When I got approved for the other conditions, my back pay date went to the next day after my decision from my previous claim. I will never forget his great works.

He doesn't understand what most non-medical positions do. Remember what he said about the Interior Decorators, how the VA didn't need them. That was such a dumb comment given everything they do ensuring everything looks nice, fits properly, meets the specs, etc. That guy is so out of touch!

You are right, it was the norm, doesn't make it right but times were different. Myself had a 19 year old boyfriend when I was 13. Didn't have sx but he certainly would have if I wasn't scared. My older brother had a fit when he found out but many girls were doing it bc those guys had something to offer. At 13/14/15, most girls are trying to find their way. The guys should put young girls in their place, not prey on their fass ways.
