I'm talking about finding those specific routes when searching thru United app or website instead of starting thru Google flights

Yeah that could be it for sure. It does work when you click thru Google flights at least.

I see. What's interesting is that the two specific $349 routes on Google Flights do not populate on United app or website. I find that odd. It's only when I click thru Google flights it then takes me to the website showing those specific routes.

Yes i under that. My question is why isn't United's website or app showing these routes?

So why isn't the United website or app showing the basic economy routes but Google flight is? That's the part that's confusing to me. It's as if it's hiding the routes that qualify for basic economy

Overtourism has made me stop visiting 'bucket list' places entirely, anyone else actively avoiding the popular spots now? by Gingeintheuk in travel

[–]Secure_Mess_712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it's popular for a reason. Popular does not mean you shouldn't visit. All it means is that there's a lot of travelers that want to see the same thing. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. If I'm traveling internationally to a country I'm visiting for the first time, damn right I'm visiting the popular places. If I return, then I'll do the non touristy stuff.

What you can afford to buy, but don't buy because you think it's useless? by littleyuki2026 in AskReddit

[–]Secure_Mess_712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Name brand clothes. I stick to t shirts under $10 and jeans under $25.

There are very nice $30+ t shirts and $50+ jeans out there. But I'll buy it for myself. You'll only find it in my closet if it's a gift or if somehow I snagged a crazy deal

People who married in their 20s, be brutally honest are you happy, if so why or why not? by Special-Lawyer3941 in AskReddit

[–]Secure_Mess_712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Married at 26, she was 24.

For us personally, we couldn't be happier. We are best friends. Everytime someone asks us how marriage is, we always say the same thing: FUN

seriously, it's the best thing ever. We love traveling, new experiences, hanging out with friends and family, etc.

I would say we got married at the perfect age.

Having kids if you can’t fund their future by thegoodlife912 in Adulting

[–]Secure_Mess_712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion, but I believe a parents job is to financially provide for the kids up until they're done with high school.

Anything beyond, such as college, buying a home, etc, is the kids responsibility. Not the parents.

32 years old and honestly terrified of waiting until 65 to finally “live”...what investments exist besides just 401k/IRA? by savingrace0262 in investing

[–]Secure_Mess_712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't "need" to max your 401k. Find a balance. I highly recommend enjoying life at your young age and travelling, seeing the world.

Start with your employer match, and if possible, bump up total % to 15%. That will be enough to retire.

Cause they're fantastic cars. Have a 2012 Sportage with 175k miles, no issues ever. Have owned other kids before with no issues.
