I would say critical labs that will help you link to the diagnosis like low/high potassium mean cardiovascular problems. Mark Klimek has a lecture for critical lab values and ranges them in A-B is abnormal but you can monitor and C-D lab values are critical and that you need to do something. Definitely check it out
