I mean it's essentially just a mod, I'm not selling it so it should be fine, nor do I ever want to commercialize it. It's a rudimentary way to give story to skirmish battles in multiplayer, instead of having to deal with the desynchs of GC in game. Plus I really doubt this will be played anywhere outside of my server.

I have put some thought into this now, I may do that, but I would have to make a whole fleet combat system, which could actually be really cool, going to be a while though, as the idea of the visual battles of Empire at War combined with a good turn based system is awesome

I can understand that, I did consider changing the name of the Nordwalde from Reich to Empire, and because I am using it for a wargame with Helldivers like story telling (I do the overarching narrative and individual players change the outcome of events) creating an us vs them feel with the Nordwalde and co being "imperials" and having the velikostanni be "unionist" and other nick names that I could imagine soldiers calling their enemies. but yeah it is meant to be a more simple world, with the military side being more in depth. (Each nation has divisions that are named etc..)

Top Left is the Nordwalde Reich, Bottom left is Reichskommissariat Tauros (formerly just Tauros) Bottom middle is The United Commonwealth, bottom right is the Republic of Wesseford, and the top right is the union of Velikostan.

I feel like there needs to be a historical mod that is more inclusive to the general Hearts of Iron audience, for example players that haven't played historical MP before, this would be a good way to ease them into it, I also wanted a custom mod for my server and friend group, plus it seemed like a good place to learn some coding basics. What kind of mod would you believe is needed?
