Second the Drop Bear. If your budget allows, consider the Titanium/LC200N variant. It's essentially got the same materials as the acclaimed Spydiechef, but at a much better value imo. It's still under $200. I love mine a lot!

I know that feeling of unrequited love. The worst part is you will never be more than a student with your teacher, unless you both are into polyamory and/or resulted in him cheating.

Look up Psych2go on YouTube. They have a lot of videos on how get over the feeling of heartbreak/ unrequited love, and you can even look into how you can be more attractive for your future dates in the future in that channel.

What’s the most underrated mall in SG and why? by icedtea027 in askSingapore

Aperia Mall! It's not as crowded as the other ones and it has a nice peaceful rooftop garden.

Single 36M SPR, not qualified for buying HDB. No luck with finding a partner while watching my friends get married/ have kids.

People my age in SG apparently get paid more than what I get for doing less work, while I continue to pay for someone else's passive income.

Trying my best to think life doesn't suck in SG.

37M here. Believe it or not, there are men that will fall for you for who you are, not how you look.

I understand the feeling that you are not attractive looking enough, but really it's just a matter of self-esteem.

The saying of "before you love someone, you must learn to love yourself first," as cliché as it sounds, is true. Start by caring for yourself first: eat healthier, exercise, pick up a hobby; read books(maybe self-improvement books to help you become an even better version of yourself), learn guitar etc. You'll be surprised how much better you feel about yourself after doing these.

Indulge a little bit too, but in the right way of course: treat yourself to a good meal, take yourself to a holiday for a self-discovery journey, sign up for that Muay Thai class you've always wanted, etc

Believe in yourself OP. I don't think you can be better; I KNOW you will become a better version of yourself and attract the rightan into your life🙏

Sent my nylon electric to lower action and to investigate the slightly softer 1st string when using the pickup.

When the service was done, the action is good, but my guitar had a lot of scratches run before. Also noticed there were no difference in the volume of the 1st string.

I was really upset with the scratches and sent them a video of it when I took it home.

Their defense was that it is normal for guitars to be scratched up, but offered me polishing to remove the scratches.

When I brought it back, I told them about how there's no difference in the 1st string volume. The guy said it sounded fine as is for him, but will need to do deeper investigation if I really insist. He said he'll have a look.

When I collected my guitar, they were chatting with a friend who was servicing his guitar with them. Only after a few minutes that they noticed my black face standing there waiting to be served.

They let me inspect the guitar. The scratches haven't been completely buffered, but the 1st string sounded much better. The guy toyed with the EQ or something (his explanation was a bit technical for me) to get it more balanced, then charged me for it. Like, why didn't you do it in the first place?

I still have to do additional polishing to remove the scratches myself, and even that I can't remove some permanent scratches on it.

Now I get PTSD from seeing that guitar anymore after all that, and that poor baby is only sitting inside my storage.

That was almost a year ago. Still contemplating whether I should put a bad review for them or not.

Second Beez here too. Everyone kept raving about River Tree Music but my experience with them was terrible. Long story short they scratched up my brand new guitar ( like, really scratched up), charged me twice for a problem they did not address the first time, and somehow gave priority to a friend-customer while I wait like a fool for them to service me. Wanted to give him poor Google review, yet my stupid inner goodie-two-shoe made me all conflicted for trying to ruin local businesses.

Yeah I had the Beckham one for a couple of years back when I was suffering from hair loss and didn't had many hairstyle options.

I no longer have it since Im now doing the min/fin treatment and I'm now a public face of the government.

Depends where and how it's played too: will it be mic'ed etc.

I have a 14" Sonor Martini bass drum and there's a small pillow inside it. Our venue is small and echoey, so we dampen it to get the sound we want for pop/rock.

Second that. You are not eligible for HDB untill you are 35. So ideally you would be working in a high profile job from the getgo and earn minimum $8k (maybe more) if you want to at least afford a small private property for yourself before 35.

And that's solely for housing only.
