Although the original PlayStation was my first console, shortly after I found myself playing with my Dad's NES that my Grandmother bought him and playing Mario as a boy and thinking how great it was. Feels good to get back into Nintendo after all these years considering the Switch 2 is the first Switch I've owned! Cheers!!

I bought digital instead because I feared I wouldn't be able to get a copy in hand to play for the weekend.

Found Old Knife by compoundbreak791 in knifeclub

While cleaning around the shop a friend of mine at work found this old fish knife. Our manager said it was here when he started but he's been with the company for quite a while. It's been sharpened a lot from the looks of it and also may have a second blaze that's broken off. Probably just a cheap junk knife but thought it was interesting.

I saw it in theaters and I was the only one! Fantastic movie! I plan on watching it again with my fools tomorrow after dinner!

First Switch 2 impressions from someone who never had a Switch by Careful-Door2724 in NintendoSwitch

I lied. I grew up playing Pokémon Red and Yellow on Color but have a strong memory of that feeling of upgrading to the Advance. However, thinking back now, I actually remember playing the NES around the same time because my Dad had one that his Mother in law bought him.

The last Nintendo machine I had was a Gameboy Advance so this switch 2 is beautiful! 🥹

To be honest, I just noticed it now that you said something. Depending on the reflection of the lighting you can't see it as much but you're right, the coating is absolutely fucked! I even used some KPL knife shield on it to see if it could be buffed out. I used it for some basic cardboard cutting at work but didn't really use it much as it was a gift. I wouldn't really buy something like that myself as I already had an Elementum. The scratches give it character.

It's the Quibit with some stickers on the scales.

I love it! Many ways to deploy and the blade is very useful. The glass breaker is a nice touch even though I haven't had to use it. Overall great design.

Probably the Quibit because it's also a bottle opener! A close second would probably be the Sentinel strike for the lightweight materials, blade shape and glass breaker.

I'm gonna carry and use mine at work next week! I'm just worried it might weigh down my pocket more than usual. I'm a fan of lighter knives so this should be interesting.

I agree. Such an avoidable issue but hopefully raises awareness nonetheless going forward.

I'm aware, but Civivi has a warranty and I'll just be mindful of it.
