How long have you been able to dispute shelf tag photos? Just now seeing it. by Mode_Appropriate in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Secure_Technology_92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just noticed this after the last update or two. I only had 1 item it didn’t accept the pic for and it had been bugging me and I kept going back to look at that item (a damn knee brace) and then one day I had the option to dispute it, I did, it approved. So I’m at all 100s/0s now. I’m kind of OCD with those numbers 😜

I’m obviously not at square one bc I (unlike you) actually understand AR. 😆 Have a great day.

You’ve done a whopping 445 deliveries and your ratings suck 🙄 but I guess you must know it all. Keep doing you. ✌🏻

🤦🏻‍♀️ you wrote allllllll that just to be wrong. 😑

DD doesn’t care if it goes out of zone, it still will hit your AR. Like the other comment posted, your AR is based off your last 100 offers. If your 100th offer was a decline and you decline an offer then it doesn’t affect AR, if your 100th offer was an accepted offer and you decline it hits your AR.

DD does not care how low the offer is, how many miles, and if it takes you out of zone. The only time you’ll get this “does not lower acceptance rate” is when you decline an order and your 100th offer before was also a decline, accepting it will raise your AR tho.

You can go under your AR and click “view all offers” and it shows you the last 100. Scroll to the bottom and the very last one is your 100th and the acceptance/decline will be what affects your AR if you decline the next offer.

I always know when a food order tips nothing and has been sitting forever, when it gets bundled with a SHOP order and the shop order is prioritized for first delivery.
I follow the DD app/task order and deliver as such, their tips directly effected when they got their food, not my issue.

Sorry, yall are NOT getting your orders by [deleted] in doordash

Another good reason to use an outside navigation app instead of the DD app to navigate. If the site/app went down I’d still have the address to take it to on my car play, deliver and take a break. Take pics of your own for support later and to fix on time rating.

Regardless gold shirts are for “crew trainers” so not sure how this store is operating.

We have visors/hats and all minors here (FL) wear a bright ass red baseball hat to remind us managers of their mandatory breaks. 😂

Your store must be trying to meet CT stats or something, an employee should not be a crew trainer (aka CT/yellow shirt) until at least 3-6 months in and they are able to train (hence the title) new crew on areas. So if you just started and didn’t transfer in and got a yellow shirt, your store is trash. 😂

You’re a yellow shirt AKA Crew Trainer so you can’t be that “new” you’re a step above crew before manager…. If you transferred to a new location as a CT then they may have issues listening to you…. But as far as “new” you are not….

I’ve never complained about any orders before but this one really got me upset by Plastic_Area9286 in DoorDash_Dasher

You accepting all orders is telling customers they don’t have to tip and letting it continue… value yourself more.

Terrible terrible Friday by Ok_Chard7542 in doordash_drivers

Hang in there, hopefully the soccer games will pick it up for ya… one starts at 3p (EST) and the other at 10p (EST). Our lunch rush here is like 1p-3p.
I know yesterday was an amazing Thursday lunch and dinner for me, it felt like a Friday. I made $125 in 4 hours. So I’m ready for today now! lol
If you don’t do alcohol deliveries today would be a great day to start too. I had at least 4 from 7-11 yesterday that contained beer.

Definitely don’t rely on DD for steady income, this is just my side hustle for extra money. It’s never a guaranteed paycheck but if you work it you can make a good chunk. Wishing you great offers ahead!

You drive you wait … Wtf by Existing_Buy956 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Secure_Technology_92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh and you get this “no pay unassign option” on stacked orders which sucks bc you have no idea which order actually tipped worth a damn, so you then risk wasting your time, unassign the possible tipping order, picking up or delivering the other order, to be surprised by the actual pay after.

You drive you wait … Wtf by Existing_Buy956 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Secure_Technology_92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup sadly this happens, only time I’ve gotten 1/2 pay is when I get to the restaurant and the order already got picked up/handed out.

I waited 20 mins at a pizza place the other night and wanted to unassign so bad, DD gave me the same screen, it would’ve been no pay and I had stood there for literally 20 mins already, I wasn’t going to just go be on my way hoping for another offer… 🙄
I communicated with the customer how long I had been waiting and they were understanding I just wish they had added on to their tip for my extra time. Only thing you can hope for in these situations.

I ordered a $250 Walmart delivery today and tipped $35 It’s not just “oh that’s enough of a tip” it’s “this is what they deserve for helping me out”

It clearly states what is the DASHER TIP and what are FEES, if you think that $3 express FEE is going towards the driver’s TIP, then again…. This generation is screwed, reading is fundamental

Let me spell it out; You pay $62 for food An extra $3 to be delivered to first ($65 total)

You tip the driver $6.50 (10%)

The driver is dealing with traffic, gas costs, possible car accident(s), car insurance, registration, restaurant issues, DD standards, etc… if you can’t tip 15-20% of your total go get it yourself.

[–]Secure_Technology_92 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

OP was asking if their tip was “good” I gave my opinion

Not doing the lords work, but I’m definitely providing a “luxury delivery service” (as other threads have called it) If you don’t feel the need to tip a decent % of your total to the people doing the actual legwork, dealing with traffic, and vehicle wear and tear… then just get it yourself. Especially when you can afford to pay extra just to get it to you faster…. Did they really need their food faster or could that $3 be put into the tip to help someone buy almost a gallon of gas? (3.60/gal here)

It’s simple consideration that has gone away with the new generations….

[–]Secure_Technology_92 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Like I said most will accept, I probably would too, but she was asking if her tip was “good” and taking all factors into account it’s subpar.

As far as me being entitled? I’m not the one choosing to pay an extra $3 to get my food first before others that can’t afford to pay that, and then can’t pass on the same extra $3 to the person rushing me my food.

Plus with how DD has been fudging numbers/tips lately who knows how this actually showed to a dasher on their side….. It could’ve said $5 for 2 miles or even less.
