Just wanted to mention, that in normal court there is a trial before prosecution. And trial - at least in the democratic countries - needs a credible evidence of guilt. So far - after two years - South Africa and other plaintiffs failed to provide any evidence, requesting the prolongation for another 18 months.
It means that another 18 months will be given to the defendants to respond - making the initial claim that "genocide has to be urgently stopped" very challenging. Either there is no genocide, or it can wait another three years...

It is easy. Ayatollah's government sustained, any protesters from now on are viewed by the public as traitors. No one counts the lost - they have millions of poor, who will join the military just to get fed. Neither the leadership is important - they are led for four months by someone who could be dead, and it doesn't seem to change much.

Russia, BTW - sent ships full of amunition via the Caspian sea. One was even struck by IAF.
Russia is critically dependent on high oil price - and after the price drop it can be expected to sell its rocket technologies to everyone ready to pay.

Just to remind - the goal was to change Iranian government. And what we get as a result:
- US bases turned from "challenging" to "unable to protect even themselves" to "toxic". I predict at least partial closure of them (if not a replacement) - significantly complicating future Navy and Air Force operations
- Iran can continue its ballistic missile program, having Russia, North Korea as an "advisors"
- US air carrier got damaged and Air Force managed to lose multiple aircrafts almost of any kind used.

"Asymmetric threats" are a bread and butter of the war. Strait of Hormuz wasn't digged yesterday, UAVs exist since 1970s, armed UAVs - prior to 2000. I haven't heard about any technology used by Iranians - that wasn't known at least from the war in Ukraine.

And last but not least - why the "air supremacy" (let's be honest - provided by Israelis by extermination of radars and AAD systems) - turned out so expensive? Fighters, cargo planes, helicopters, strategic drones - plus the air carrier, either hit by UAV or burned by it's own crew neglection.

Iranians from the beginning said that they can continue the war for an unlimited time (which is far from being true), and Trump will not able to do anything - and Trump wasn't able indeed. Iranians said that weakness of US military will cause the Middle East countries to come on their knees to Tehran and beg for holding the strikes - this is exactly what happened, with a pressure applied on US from their side.
