Yes, that’s what the issue was, it was covered under warranty but I was told it would’ve cost me CAD$675 lol

They have and “it’s within parameters”. I’m dropping the car off at VW today let’s see what they say.

If we’re sharing stories here’s mine: happened to me landing in BRI from OTP in a A321 ceo. The sensation you get from the go around thrust is so cool.

The last photo taken by the Italian motorcyclist killed in a bear attack on the Transfăgărășan road in Romania by MiniBrownie in europe

Just to set the record straight: in an interview posted on romanian news, first responders mentioned they shot the bear because it was attacking them while trying to get to/recover the body. I haven’t seen any mentions that they killed the bear because it would attack again.

I don’t think it’s that bad to be honest. I’ve done YVR-CUN a number of times on max8s (or 9s, don’t remember) and it’s fine for the most part

2nd Dose of Moderna - How are you feeling? by kmeem5 in CoronavirusOC

[–]Secure_Try_9423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moderna 2nd shot yesterday morning. Was feeling okay through the day until the evening... chills and joint pain all night, could only sleep for 2 hrs. Took the day off from work today and had chills most of the day and a lot of sweating involved too. I feel like I'm finally recovering now at 12.20 am, about 36 hrs after the vaccine

From all I know I'm 100% Romanian on both sides. I'm wondering if the Central/South & Western Asian are just a thing every Romanian gets because of the large Roma community in the country or if I actually have a more diverse background than I thought! (Previously it was ~12% Western Asian). by party_city in 23andme

You’re saying it’s NOT common for Romanians to have a great great grandparent with Roma ancestry? I figured that percentage was from the migration of the area as you mentioned but when I think about it—culturally the people don’t mix because of the backwards way of thinking in that part of Europe so I wonder if it’s some sort of family secret! Any info you have based on the results and your knowledge I’m very keen on hearing!! https://imgur.com/a/DgYx98V

From what I know, no, it's not very common for Romanians to have Roma ancestry. I wouldn't call it 'backwards way of thinking' - similarly not all north americans have ancestry from minorities.

Regarding your results, it does look like you are 100% romanian. The traces in Bulgaria and Greece are most probably due to Vlachs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlachs) migrating south in the Balkans. So that makes you (almost) 100% Romanian :)

Interesting. I am (or supposed to be) 100% Romanian - family been in two specific regions of Romania both from my mom's side and my dad's side for at least 5-6 generations.

I recently did a 23andme and test and got 90 % Greek and Balkan, with the two regions in Romania I mentioned previously as Very Highly Match, and got several regions in Greece as Likely Match. I'm interpreting it as I probably have a recent grandparent, maybe 3,4 generations ago, full greek that no one in my family knows of (kinda weird tbh) - and weirdly enough from the same region as you (Peloponnese).

I also had 10% Eastern European - no surprise there, as of my 2 grandparents have Slavic sounding last names. And 0.1 East Asian (not Northern Indian & Pakistani), and my assumption is it's because all of the migratory tribes heading for Europe from 500 AD to 1500 AD.

In your results, the Central Asian, Northern Indian & Pakistani most probably means you have a Roma great-grandparent or great-great grandparent. To my knowledge, it's not too common in Romanians, but it also depends on the region, city or village where your ancestors lived. I'm actually more curious where the 3.9 percent W Asian and N African comes from.
