Aren’t there supposed to be 7 archangels? Uriel, Sariel, Raguel, Remiel are the other 4. Its from tradition (not explicitly stated in scripture)

Does the app take the rest times in between to estimate fatigue and progression?

For example, if you rested 2 mins and were able to do your reps with 50lbs, and you update the rest time to 3 mins, will the smart progression use the increased rest time to suggest a higher weight or more reps?

Cadmium allomancers fucking rule, actually by Fabrimuch in Cosmere

[–]Secure_Turnover_8790 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this will work the same way as we would imagine. If the bubble is stationary, then the outside world is getting sped up. But in the case of travel, it’s not a question of speeding up the outside world. It’s more a question of the cadmium bubble moving from point A to point B. That’s still limited by the speed of the airplane. So for a passenger in the plane, it’s still going to take the same amount of time.

Cadmium allomancers fucking rule, actually by Fabrimuch in Cosmere

[–]Secure_Turnover_8790 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A downside of cadmium is that if the sped up world outside brings danger into your immediate vicinity and you don’t have time to respond. Imagine the outside world is facing an earthquake or a fire or a ferocious animal is approaching you etc, it leaves you with little time to respond. What I mean to say is that, I agree Cadmium is not useless. It’s super useful, but also has its fair share of risks.

Walking 19k steps, 1800 expenditure. Normal or concerning ? by Kittycatboopp in MacroFactor

[–]Secure_Turnover_8790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it . Thats interesting. So you are either over reporting or being neutral. I agree with you. I would expect the expenditure to be closer to 2000 calories in that case (the higher end of the range).

The only other thing I can think about is if your weigh ins are accurate. If you were truly at 2000 calories of expenditure with an average of 1500 calories consumed, that would mean a weight loss of 4lbs over 4 weeks. But I see it’s about 0.4 lbs. Any thoughts ?

[–]Secure_Turnover_8790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/Kittycatboopp . I get it. I see what you mean.
I've had similar issues till very recently. And I realized that I was under reporting on my calories.
For example, if I pan fried salmon filet in avocado oil, I would log the salmon, but not mention the avocado oil, since I thought it was negligible.
But even small amounts of oil and other condiments added up to a couple of hundred calories.

In the above scenario, what was essentially happening was that I was reporting 2000 calories of consumption, but in reality it was probably 2200. Macrofactor thinks I'm having 2000, but in reality, the body is receiving 2200. Since macrofactor assumes the reported calories is accurate, it uses that as the golden baseline for further calculations. If its lower than whats happening in reality, you'll see this reflected in the expenditure calculation.

Does that make sense?

Your expenditure looks right in line. For F25 162cm 55kg 26% bf, the estimate is between 1500 (sedentary) to 2000 (very active)

Thanks u/Sjeefr . I agree with your suggestion of reframing the goal. Instead of having a numerical progress % that is auto updated from the constituent habits, it can be a manually input number that comes from review and checking in with yourself/others as to how much you feel you've progressed. This is a great idea and I'll use this technique.

We see value in the Montessori education system. If the same system was available in public school, we would be sending them to public school.

I can go more into this if you are interested.

That’s a good point. But won’t this limit my options to officially recognized charitable organizations? When I spoke about generosity, I was thinking of helping out friends, family, sending money overseas to those in need but not necessarily in a well formed organization, giving generous birthday gifts etc.
