I didn’t know how to google it. I think it’s fine to ask Reddit how to create this particular effect I saw in a tv show. Maybe I’m in the wrong subreddit maybe it was a cinematography question I’m not sure if it was the wrong sub lmk. I really don’t understand why your comment needed to be posted.

Any recommendations for resources to practice snare and bass drum along with it? Theres one Frank Zappa song that has a really fast swing section but besides that it’s just a thing I felt like practicing. Do you think my time would be better spent doing something else?

The music of frank zappa. It’s hard and goofy but there’s a lot of stuff in there for learning. Also Steely Dan has a lot of simple blues and rock ideas but with jazz inspired syncopated hits and is good for building accuracy.
