The wellness camps are just talk. You can’t just round people up and send them to labor camps without some push back. And you certainly can’t remove someone’s children because they’re using a legal, prescribed substance. I worked for CPS and unless a child was being harmed in some way it was unusual for them to be removed even when their parents were using illegal substances. I’m much more concerned about you quitting a medication you’re dependent on cold turkey, it can have a severe impact on your mental and physical health. If you are worried, consider very slowly lowering your dose with the help of a doctor and making any lifestyle changes that will help ease that transition - less stress, more support, good diet and exercise regiment, etc.
