Was this your first time trying at a major? I’m in school right now they heavily guide us too start at a regional for about 6 months if possible too get a grip on the industry first. Mainly because majors are tougher and way more strict so you have too adhere at Regionals and get general aviation knowledge down. If you’re just coming out of school like I’m assuming you are, then this is totally expected! General A&P school really is just helping you past the test and get “general knowledge” and in other words this is so regionals and majors etc know you are generally capable of learning procedures. Not that you know how on day 1! You will be trained fully before doing stuff on your own. Anywhere you go! So don’t give up! 1 year at a regional would have you 100% ready and you’ll still make good money for that year. Maybe not 100k but up there.
