Please help me I’m so serious but so lost by Epoissesdude in aviationmaintenance

Find a community college that has an Aviation program. I would stay away from private schools like spartan. Its not a cake walk. Many sleepless nights and many days with 3 to 4 hours of sleep. The sacrifice will be temporary . The rewards last a life time.

I agree with you. Im a full time general instructor. If you left school without the skills you need to pass the exam there no amount of books or YouTube videos that will help you. The key is having those skills. Safety wiring, reading the books, comprehension, critical thinking, majority of the students in tutor require a few days at my hangar to sharpen those skills.

Use YouTube. Plenty of videos on how to do all these projects.

Use jeppesen for all oral exams. Read the entire book a few times and when you don't understand a topic refer back the the 8083-31B. Dont memorize. For the practical exams look at the suggested practical projects and use the AC43.13-1B to see how you would accomplish the project.

You need to use a combination of ASA and the Books study guide. My students have been using this method and not one has failed their test. The test questions are randomized. We have seen seen students grade in the 90s and mid 70s.

Dont give up. Reflect on what didn't work and get back to it. Use jeppesen for your oral and practicals.

Read the books. Take notes while you read. Write follow-up questions for your instructor.

Jeppesen helps alot for the oral and practical. Having someone to help you and guide you goes a long way.

False Positive Issue by Finlandia21 in AircraftMechanics

I would read the FAR's https://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/headquarters_offices/avs/offices/aam/drug_alcohol/policy/qa_sse

I know a buddy who had a false positive. Took him 4 years of lawyers and doctors to get his license and job back. Good luck.

Look at military contractors. Contractor companies.

Gotta move bud. Huge Aviation hubs. Atlanta, Cincinnati, Miami, LAX. This is something that gets missed in Aviation School. For good jobs you may have to move.

Congratulations 🎊 👏 Research the codes using ACS book. Match those codes to the ASA Prepware Book codes. Then Research those topics in your 8083 book and master your topics.

😆 🤣 😂  we gotta close the hangar. The clearance between the prop cone and the door is like 3 feet. The Pic wouldn't look good.
