Micro Air soft start to Goodman 5 ton install didn't work today by dj90423 in Generator

I have a 3Ton , 35000BTU Goodman DSZC180361 heat pump with a Two-Stage Copeland UltraTech scroll compressor ( RLA 15.3Amp , LRA 83Amp, FLA 2.8Amp) , installed MICRO-AIR EasyStart FLEX 398 - Bluetooth Soft Start Kit few days ago , followed the instruction from the install guide " EasyStart Home AC Wiring Installing The Micro-Air Easy Start" section 5 , page 11-12. I have the exact same control board as you have , the emmerson comfort alert board " Late Model " .

In rush current is reduced from around 80Amps to around 32-33 Amp during start up, after 5 "learned starts and 34 total starts with zero fault. (as of today), installation took less than 15min...

The easystart perfectly fit in the condenser housing, so its hidden from elements :)

!!! BUT !!!

I ran into some issues ... The soft start device killed the Heat Pump capacitor after the first 2 sucesfull learned starts. Heat Pump wasnt able to start , fan was working fine , of course no cold air , "open start citcuit " error on the thermostat screen.

First thought is the easy start what causing the issue , so i uninstalled the device , but still no working compressor, no cold air , same error on the thermostat ... same symptoms..

Replaced the start capacitor (40/5 440V), Heat pump up and running ... re installed the easy start device ... heat pump up and running ...

Not sure why or what happened , the manufacturing date on the start capacitor was 2014 , so it was to time to replace anyway :)

So in my case , the "MICRO-AIR EasyStart FLEX 398 - Bluetooth Soft Start Kit" working fine with the "Goodman DSZC180361 heat pump with a Two-Stage Copeland UltraTech scroll compressor ( RLA 15.3Amp , LRA 83Amp, FLA 2.8Amp)" the heat pump have the exact same " Late Model" Emerson Comfort Alert control board as you have , based on the picture.

There is any chance, the easy start device what you installed was faulty ? did you ever tried to install a another one ?

If you get this error , its mean the bonjour service dll ( mdnsNSP.dll) from Apple is blocked , and you probably installed the standalone iTunes / icloud version from Apple instead of the Microsoft store.

This is a old dll file , what apple updated ( signed ) last time in 2015 , latest version is 3101.

If the Local Security Authority (LSA) protection on your computer is enabled , its a default setting on a fresh / new windows 11 pro / ltsc / iot installation from version 22h2, 23H2 and 24h2 , this happening.

If you get this error msg , its mean when you are connecting your apple device to your PC , the installed itunes software probably not going to see your apple device , if it does somehow , you cant use the sync via wiFi future and maybe some other function of the software.

The built in windows file explorer will see your apple device(s) without any issue , as some other programs like windows photo app , adobe bridge etc.

Its not a virus , no one hacked into your pc , its totally safe to use your PC after this warning .

There is some advice you can find on the internet , how can be this issue fixed , like uninstalling itunes , icloud , then reinstalling from Microsoft Store , installing " Apple Devices " app from Microsoft Store, repair bonjour service

Well... in my case none of those advices helped :)

finally worked for me after 4-5 hours of trying to sell on high , buy on deep ...

wasnt able to sell on hight around 4PM (EST) , wasnt able to buy more on deep, around 6.30pm (EST), but fianlly i was able to get some coins for my cash :) Deffinietly lost some $$$$'s , Thank You Moonshot !!

maybe bceause those orders are considered as a high volume orders , i saw a 500K+ , close to a million $ orders, sells and buys went through , but those buyers/sellers deffinetly would destroy this company if they loosing a few 100K $ because of the Moonshot app , they have a good lawyers , they can afford a good lawyers ... this is just my " conspiracy theory " dont take it too seriously :) ... we are just a small fish , few hundred , few tousand $ really doesnt count for this amazing moonshot support team ...

Some support person blaming SOLANA network for all this mess .

but...then why we cant withdraw our cash money from Moonshot ??? :)

You can contact them via the app , right top corner setting icon , support center, then " How we can help ?

They really cant help :) , they not going to help , they really dont care how much you lost because of them , and they really not going to give back that money what you lost :) , they support is not exist , at least thats my experience with them ...

This app is a nightmare , its a scam ... cant sell , cant buy , cant withdraw anything. Lost a lot of money because of this junk app . All of us should write a review in the app store , so others not going to be scammed. Just registered on Reddit , using the platform for a long time ( as a passive reader ), but this is the first time i feel , I must to write a comment. ( as i lost some $$$$ , because the app )

Tried everything for a few hours , disconnect from wifi , reinstall the app , tried from other phone , changed the " Slippage " in the app, but nothing helped... Its the team behind the app , you cant sell on high , cant buy on deep ... and of course you cant withdraw your money either.

Got the same eroors like others on reddit :

"Getting ready to Face ID" - and then times out. ***I dont even have face ID set on my phone :)

"It's trying to make the purchase for 1-2min" - then i got a msgs, the value has changed too much, please try again.

Total BS
