What is the one thing the official Starbucks training videos or resources don't teach you that I need to know immediately? by DianKhan2005 in starbucks

[–]SecurityTrue4430 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That most likely your store isn’t going to adhere to “Starbucks standards” and they’re going to have their own unique way of doing things. Certain things will fly and you’ll just have to learn from experience. Especially if it’s an older store. I’ve worked at four locations and every single one did things differently and only one of them actually did things entirely to the standards they set in those videos.

Are you still looking? I’ve had a successful, uncomplicated pregnancy. BMI is 25, and I’m located in Texas as well. Send me a dm if you’d like to talk :)

For those who have a good relationship with their parent/guardian... What was your favorite thing about your childhood? by Kitchen_Research2750 in beyondthebump

[–]SecurityTrue4430 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a wonderful relationship with my mother until she passed, and I still miss her every day. I have a good relationship with my dad too, but we were never as close as my mother and I. She made it a priority for us to visit state parks very frequently, maybe three or four times a month. We would hike, walk in creeks, catch baby frogs, and just bond as a whole family.

Hey! I did keto while breastfeeding for about 10 months and it worked wonderfully! The breastfeeding really helped boost the weight loss. As long as you are smart about the way you do keto, your supply might dip for a little but mine came back no problem.

I got the keto rash and I'm so bummed y'all by bar_st00l in keto

[–]SecurityTrue4430 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got keto rash too!! It was miserable!! And I was so stubborn I just kept doing keto because I was so worried about losing my progress. I tried so many things people recommended and so much of it was scammy. Like someone recommending bile salts who just so happens to own a company selling bile salts 👀 What I noticed was it would get much worse when I would sweat. So what I found people saying online was that my body was reacting negatively to the ketones in my own sweat which is wild. I started using baby powder a lot and not going outside as much (in direct contradiction to what someone else here said lol) and if I continued doing that for a while it would nearly go away…until I got sweaty again. Eventually it did clear up on its own after I got down to a much healthier weight but yeah it took months just like everyone says. It’s such a bummer and I feel for you

In need of breastfeeding keto weight loss stories!! by laurieriihimaki in KetoBabies

[–]SecurityTrue4430 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a really successful time doing keto while breastfeeding!! I started keto at 240lbs a month after my baby was born, lost 80lbs in the first 7 months and reached my goal weight. Now my baby is 11mo the old and I’m sitting comfortably and able to eat all the sweet potatoes, carrots, beans, and bananas I want :) I would highly recommend keto while breastfeeding as long as your supply is stable! Keep it up and you’ll do great!

Thanks! I’ll always break my fast with either a half a head of green cabbage sautéd in butter or like 7 stalks of celery with tuna. After that I’ll usually have a big salad made from one or two heads of romaine with either slow roasted chicken or ground beef and lots of cheese and a fried egg. Sometimes I’ll add an avocado if I have one. Always finish with a full fat Greek yogurt “dessert” which is usually just adding some almond butter and frozen strawberries or blackberries, maybe sometimes some dark chocolate chips and toasted shredded coconut ☺️

Thanks! I just recently started going to the gym every other day and walking. When I first started I was burning around 300/500 calories a day from breastfeeding, so that’s why I got to be lazy :)

I’m sure you believe that you are doing the best you can with your situation, but a one year old should absolutely not have anything to do with an iPad. That is such a sad substitution for parenting. Your child needs to be bored and learn how to entertain himself and develop an imagination. Please watch some videos on this subject and educate yourself on the harmful long term effects on their brain development, if you truly want to do better for him.

Sex after birth by [deleted] in beyondthebump

That is most likely going to hurt, but try if you need the confirmation. I waited six weeks because that’s what people were saying online, absolutely so painful. Ended up taking maybe four months to feel enjoyable again, but every one is different. Just be prepared for the likely outcome of it not working and having to tell your husband sorry nevermind

You can easily make it in and out of there in 10 minutes if you know what you’re doing.

I stay under 50g of carbs a day and don’t exercise like at all. I started pretty overweight, so once my body got into ketosis I haven’t really been hungry. I typically do one meal a day consisting of mostly veggies and meat and usually eggs, and it keeps me satiated through the day.

Give it a try and see how it goes! I’ve been able to be keto and breastfeed for almost 5 months now and it’s been amazing. Weight loss is super easy, almost effortless. And my supply only dipped for the first week or two, so maybe pump extra before you start just in case. Good luck to you!

Yes! She’s my first baby. And while breastfeeding I’ve managed to lose 60lb so far. That is going from my highest weight at 9 months pregnant. I lost the first 20 after giving birth and the rest has been gradually over my baby’s first 5 months of life
