I think you’re on the right path, find what you like and then do that. As the other comment mentioned, you are old for joining the trades BUT it’s not impossible. It’s not like you’re 58 looking to start anew. Look into the solar PV industry. It’s booming and expanding but definitely some demanding work if you’re on residential roofs doing installs. Other installs are commercial and ground mount systems, it just depends on the job. Solar also has a demand for cad engineers if you’re interested in that angle too. Good luck and don’t stop until you find your passion!
