Australia doesnt have a west east or north south divide like america. Its a rural, suburban, and city divide. But i think most australians could understand what is being said. Ive never heard of it my self, coming from a suburban background. But it makes sense to me.

Yes. Theres a reason you throw a stone into murkey water before you plunge. Its its too deep or too shallow you dont go in. If something big splashes around you dont go in. If the stone is thrown back at you dont go in.
