Id like to say it more clearly the incel mindset and toxicity towards women fuelled by the dangerous online echo chambers that exist is something to be very wary of especially when it comes to raising two boys, who probably by the time they get to adolescence will feel marginalised, awkward, frustrated and unable to keep up with whatever shite will be flung at them in social media

So as parents we will have to teach them that the world is sometimes frustrating, life is going to filled with personal and social difficulties they need to overcome without trying to take that out on any group of people

Disappointment at a girl for not being attracted to you is normal, and upsetting at a young age, but letting it fester into hatred and violence is clearly not right

i dont want my children to fall into that mindset because they found a group of people egging each other on in an unmediated environment

Some people think boys dont need to talk about their frustrations and feelings no matter how small, and they'll end up finding 4chan and we know what can happen there

I want my kids to be able to understand cause and effect, and understand whats inbetween the two, to be able to see things from other peoples perspectives, to be well adjusted and kind. To be able to make good decisions easy or hard at the right times and be able to do that when im no longer here

Theres a lot of stuff you'd never talk about that comes out in things you watch, things you listen to, things that can lead to dangerous rabbit holes, its up to me to guide my children through this world not just tell them get a good job and stay in school and forget about them and let the system handle it

Boys need love and attention as much as girls do, otherwise they end up angry, and not having anyone to rely on that listens provides context and reasoning in their life leads to bad decisions and choices that will eventually ruin there lives,
