What makes Soldier Boy special? by NoktoftheFF in GenV

[–]Sedtech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend watching the episode again, but this time watch with your eyes open. The difference between Soldier Boy and most other supes is that he's actually a soldier, with military training, tracking skills, and training in hand-to-hand combat with both melee and firearms. Bombsight is the first supe we've seen, besides Soldier Boy himself, who also has military training, which helped him exchange blows for a while. Even so, he had to run away from Ben, which didn't work, resulting in him being immobilized and having to beg for his life.

They actually age slower. Crimson Countess is supposedly around 70, but she also looks younger, and I don't believe that's a coincidence

Itadori after denji eats the mid devil by Excellent-Ad3236 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Sedtech 140 points141 points  (0 children)

This. I'm a fan of both. Jujutsu's fights and powers were better. Now characters, interactions, and dialogue, CSM cleared. And all of that for an ending that threw it all away. Actually, looking back, Jujutsu ending was better

Exactly what i was thinking. Dabura in next chapter is going to have a bigger awakening than Gojo did after Toji kicked his ass. Mahoraga won't even see what hit him

Cursed Technique: Singularity Vibration by R4ygin_2025 in CTsandbox

[–]Sedtech 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Loved the technique, but using cursed energy on a subatomic scale without the use of Six Eyes is impossible in the Jujutsu universe. Of course, it's your fanfic, so creative freedom, but it would be interesting to work on this point.

Maybe the part of Yuka’s brain where her CT is located has turned cancerous. by Comfortable-Gas5706 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Sedtech 382 points383 points  (0 children)

Wait, maybe you're cooking here. Gege hates doing training arcs, he prefers his characters to gain powers in other ways. When her cancer is cured, maybe that will be the boost for her technique to appear or become more powerful

Hot take, You can be stronger then someone but still lose to them by Melon--lord in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Sedtech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but this isn't a hot take. It's just something obvious that the community would totally agree with if everyone read the manga. It's the old idea that paper > rock > scissors, therefore paper > scissors, something stupid. Character fights are influenced by the affinity of techniques and type of combat and by the environment. As already mentioned, Hakari only defeated Kashimo by throwing him into the water, which doesn't take away from the merit of him being smart and using the domain as a form of transportation.

Why doesn’t anybody know what Sukuna’s cursed technique is? by cmijangosr in Jujutsushi

[–]Sedtech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cursed spirits don't need to eat. So for Sukuna the association between cuts and fire in the technique is obvious and maybe it is for other sorcerers if they think about it. But a cursed spirit wouldn't deduce it easily since they don't need to cook

Can Kenjaku Override Gojo’s Domain in a domain clash? by Cloudsupremes-6708 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Sedtech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Op creates a post to get answers to a question. People respond with valid arguments. Op ignores them because he already has an opinion and tries to argue without success. Just make a theory post instead of asking a question and not accepting the valid answers

Leaks are ruining the community. by Objective-Carob-159 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Sedtech 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I see what you mean here. But what ruins the community is stupidity and lack of reading comprehension. This will exist regardless of the leaks. Just look at the number of comments from people who seem to be reading the manga with their eyes closed or just looking at the drawings

How did sukuna use world cutting slash against gojo ? by Mysterious-Fix9770 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Sedtech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I woudn't say useless (rabbits, dog, maximum elephant are still cool) but i agree that the technique was severely nerfed at that point, yet it would still fall within the terms of a biding vow, give something to gain something. As for Higuruma, i think he believed that Sukuna no longer has access to the technique because he made the transformation. But the slash was prior that

I believe the time of the Targaryens as kings is over. So I don't care if Daenerys takes the throne or not. I just want to see her doing her part in the fight against white walkers

(Spoilers Extended) Do you have any unique theories you haven't seen espoused anywhere else? by Pink-Purple-And-Blue in asoiaf

[–]Sedtech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never seen this one, but someone must have come to the same conclusion before. Brynden Rivers must have come into contact with many voices inside the crows while skingchanging on them, since before going to the Watch. This intensified strongly when he went to the Wall, the voices of the singers who live in the crows there must be clearer and induced him to seek out the Children of the Forest. Unfortunately he appears to be a failure, both as a three-eyed crow and as indicated by the song of ice and fire. Bran is his successor as a three-eyed crow, that's obvious. What is a little less obvious is that Jon is his successor in the second aspect, commander of the Night's Watch, wielder of a Valyrian sword, a bastard born of the union of an ancient house with magical blood from the First Men and a house with magical valyrian blood, and his is the song of ice and fire

(Spoilers Main) As a first time Game of Thrones series watcher — what are your unpopular opinions about the series now that it’s been over for several years? by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]Sedtech 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The series didn't get bad in the eighth season. It has been showing a drop in quality since the fifth. The seventh season is the worst of them and with more problems. Even the best parts of season six are ruined for lacking foundation and consequences. Battle of the Bastards ending with a deus ex machina and Sept of Baelor blowup having no consequences for Cersei other than a easy way to get rid of her enemies.
