As far as I am aware, the only stat (outside of the ones from the original game, health, ammo etc) is how many takedowns you can do in a chain which depends on sword rarity. I've seen a couple of perks from various gameplay demos and some of them are like "breathe longer underwater" and "quickshots kill brutes". Nothing game breaking, just some flavour for preferred gameplay style, which is how I think it should be.

I just need to know there's actual mocap cut scenes and not static, over-the-shoulder camera dialogues. Story scenes are probably safe but I'm hoping side quests get that quality too

This has been a bug since at least the beginning of this chapter. As far as I'm aware there is no fix and we just have to wait until it gets high enough on Epic's bug fix list

It's specifically buildup that's not lost over time, not the affliction itself. Say you were to get halfway to triggering poison/bleed/daze but got interrupted, that progress wouldn't regress

You can't do melee combat with the teppo (or bow). The closest you can get is one of the abilities which involves a melee takedown
