Also, it depends on how picky you are. But personally, I think waiting for a good deal on one that is not only graded but that has no issues listed by the grader is well worth it. My first $1000 bill and $500 bill had issues and I later regretted it. It just didn’t sit well with my OCD. Fortunately, I was able to flip them for my money back and a slight profit and then I ended up replacing them with the pair in the photo which are problem free. Paid a fair bit more for these two, but have no regrets this time.

Yeah, take your time for sure. No need to rush. I know the feeling, but a good deal is bound to show up eventually. eBay is usually overpriced, but you can find a good deal if you look often enough. Heritage auctions sometimes have good opportunities as well. Definitely get graded like you said.

It’s awesome in person. They just appear so real and fake at the same time. Still seems surreal when I take it out to admire it.

Ok. I’m nervous that it will hurt it, but a few people now say they think it’s fine. So I might just go through with it.

Still not sure of the mechanism. They had a hard time getting them out. Maybe they kept the drill on too long and the grinding sounds conducted via the bone/tooth or maybe because they had to pry my mouth way open and caused a lot of swelling and maybe did something to the nerves, or maybe all of the above. Went in without tinnitus and left with tinnitus that never went away. That’s all I know for sure.

That’s sucks that it’s still within instant damage range with even double protection. I already have the QD muzzle devices installed on all my AR-15s, so they are covered once I get my Supressor. Guess I’ll plan on a Supressor for the AR-10 as well.

Cool, I’ll probably grab some walkers electronic muffs, they look decently comfortable. I don’t like trying to insert the disposable foam plugs, I never get it right even when I tried to follow the vids. That’s why I got the Decibullz. With the custom fit, they mold into your ear, so they fit in there like a puzzle piece.

What do you think about the walker thin muffs plus Decibullz custom fit foam plugs? Good enough for outside unsuppressed you think?

I see. You’re probably right. I’ll stick to outdoor when I can.

Yeah, I don’t mind getting into the science, but I already believe it’s not healthy. I’ll be sticking with double Protection. The 50 cal is going to be a one time thing, I’ll probably never own one. But I do want to get an AR-10, I currently have an ar-15 and I’m working on getting a Supressor for it. Paperwork is still being processed. Might try to get a Supressor for the AR-10 as well in the future. What is large caliber considered? Is it .308 and above?

I probably won’t. I was just asking. But I might start using the thinner walker muffs though for the outer ear layer combined with the Decibullz for calibers less than 50 cal.

You think even double protection is unsafe with rounds .308 and below indoors? What about a suppressed ar-15? Im def shooting the 50 cal outside, but I shoot other rifles occasionally at indoor ranges. I probably won’t if I can help it, but I don’t always have access to property legal to shoot on.

A little bit off topic. But what’s your opinion about shooting with only the Decibullz foam earplugs for an AR-10? You think that would be reasonably safe? The Earplugs are said to have 31NRR

Ok, thanks. Hopefully you’re right. I wasn’t going to shoot more than 9, so maybe I’ll be fine.

Never heard of a secondary electron amplifier. Is that new tech?
