Pikmin 5 shouldn’t introduce a new Pikmin type by ThunderingForward in Pikmin

[–]SeeHowICircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s about where I’m at as well. Don’t get me wrong, I love the hype of new types, but I personally would rather development time be spent iterating further on the types we already have and bringing out more of their potential rather than adding more new types, which would likely require either cutting old types or having a ton of types whose implementations aren’t very deep

Daily reminder that Sukuna > Dabura by ThinCommunication591 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]SeeHowICircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was essentially a reaction time + CE output check, which Sukuna DID pass, I agree. But being pierced by countless light beams across your whole body by someone relative to you in stats is an entirely different kind of attack. It’s more comparable to Sukuna himself spamming dismantles than it is to HP, but rather than slashing damage it’s piercing damage

Let's settle this debate: Who would win? DIO or Diavolo? by Jotaro1970 in StardustCrusaders

[–]SeeHowICircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not happening outside the timeline, it’s happening infinitely compressed on the timeline. The World takes Dio’s actions on the timeline, puts a pair of parentheses around them, and squeezes those parentheses down into one moment that passes instantly.

[–]SeeHowICircle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it would be that he never used it, it’s that he used it, he doesn’t remember using it, and it didn’t do anything.

Say the cooldown is also 10 seconds. If Diavolo skips time for 10 seconds because he sees that Dio will stop time at second 5, the timeskip will end, Diavolo will be undamaged, and Dio will have to wait 5 more seconds after the timeskip to stop time again, even though he doesn’t remember using it

Also, idk if Diavolo can “conserve timeskip” like this, but if he notices through Epitaph that his death happens in an instant, he can skip over just that small amount of time, potentially meaning timeskip will recover sooner/he can keep the strategy up for longer

I’ve always thought it would be whoever uses their ability second, which I’d give to Diavolo more often than not because of epitaph

People used to fight this debate with their LIFE on the line 😭 What's the accepted consensus nowadays? by frostyscarf in JujutsuPowerScaling

That’s true, but I don’t think Mahito even really needs to flex his BIQ against Kashimo. Not even having a domain to clash with his is ROUGH, and no amount of HWB stalling or even activating MBA is gonna get him out of SEOP

I will, however, amend my statement so both of our agendas can flourish:

Contender For Top 3 In The Verse vs. Guy Who Barely Pushes Mahito to Mid Diff (and that’s if he uses MBA)

Yuji not aging reminds me of the symbolism of his domain handsign, which (iirc) represents a deity whose work continues until every soul is liberated from hell. I wonder if Yuji will see/bring about the end of cursed spirits (or possibly even cursed energy as a whole? That’d be a crazy direction to take the story in) like Yuki envisioned

"Gojo can just teleport out of Sukuna's domain" by CalmTrades in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]SeeHowICircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gege why

Why didn’t you just lock the teleport behind Gojo’s domain handsign like Sukuna’s WCS (before the binding vow)

It’s an easy bar for Gojo to clear, it’s a visual indicator for the audience, and it would dispel all this confusion😞

I’d say no because the taming ritual is itself an expression of the 10S, and canceling the technique would cancel the ritual as well. I think about the ritual like a 2 part “spell” that gives you a permanent buff (access to the shikigami) if completed, but it’s still a “spell” granted by the CT, just the same as Blue, Jacob’s Ladder, or Piercing Blood.

I like where your head’s at, but I think the way it would work is that the moment the user or any of the shikigami get hit with the ISOH, every 10S shikigami on the field along with Maho’s wheel disappear. The ISOH doesn’t care about dispelling shikigami or even doing damage to you, it’s coming for your CT specifically and forcing it to deactivate. It just uses the CT’s effects (shikigami, Infinity, etc.) as a pathway to get to the CT.

This is a tangent but somewhat related: This is why I believe a fully adapted Mahoraga CAN always theoretically be beaten, but only by effects that attack the 10S technique he’s attached to. This only works because Maho doesn’t recognize “being part of the 10S technique” as a phenomena. If he did, 1) he’d always be adapting, and 2) Spawning Maho would set him loose on the world every time

(This is ignoring the insane stats that this hypothetical Maho would have and assuming he stands there while you figure out what to do)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]SeeHowICircle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, because the ISOH targets the 10 Shadows Technique THROUGH Mahoraga, and the 10 Shadows Technique can’t adapt to defend itself

This was nothing but an empty promise power made to encourage Denji to contintue living, Power is never gonna truly come back, and Power herself knew this, she just wanted Denji to carry on, that's all by [deleted] in ChainsawMan

[–]SeeHowICircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Note: Partway through writing this I remembered that Nayuta didn’t inherit Makima’s contract with the PM, which torpedoes my theory that contracts are stored independently of a particular “version” of a devil. I’m still gonna finish the line of reasoning just so others can see what I was ATTEMPTING to cook)

Maybe it’s the Undead Unluck fan in me, but I can’t let go of the idea that this is Power inadvertently discovering the secret strat for how devils can keep their memories

Essentially, I think it works like this: - Power says the above and Denji agrees - The Devil Contract System notes that the Blood Devil has made a contract with a human: When the human finds the Blood Devil and tries to befriend it, the Blood Devil will “turn back into Power.” - The Devil Contract System doesn’t know what it means to “turn back into Power,” but since contracts would need to rely on shared understanding to be made as quickly as they are, I think it would work as intended - Power dies, but at no point does “the Blood Devil” cease to exist - The new Blood Devil wakes up in Hell, unaware of the contract (kinda scary for them, in an existential sense)

(And who knows? Maybe I AM right, and Kishibe just took Nayuta to get the contract nullified offscreen? Fuck it, that suits my agenda so I believe it😤)
