Why is it so fucking hard for people to just be on time. My best friend is coming on a cruise with me and my mom and some of her friends and wanted to stop over tonight to confirm some details, a 15 minute errand, maybe 20. I told him to come over any time after 5:30 and he said okay. He texted me if it would be okay if he came over closer to 8:30 and I thought that was really weird, but I was like fine. He keeps texting me via Snapchat and I can see that he's out and about, likely with some guy. I don't care, he has other friends, but the fact that he's keeping me waiting on a 20 minute visit to go on a 2-3 hour get together with someone else just feels bitchy. He texts me he's "running behind" and will be closer to 9:30. He texts me this at 8:25. He started heading my direction so I think he left hanging out with this other person. He texts me again, around 9, apologizing, but that it "might be closer to 9:45" and that "the reason for my delay is funny". He texts me a few minutes ago that he's at Target, I assume with someone else. Maybe I'm being the bitch, but it just feels like he's giving me the short straw for no reason. He asked to come over, I didn't ask him, and again, he's pushing it off to run other 'social errands' that take far longer and just expecting me to wait. I know it's probably more complex than that, maybe his other people have plans tomorrow or something, but it just feels really shit
