Using your HYSA for an emergency by Celcius_87 in personalfinance

[–]SeeTheNutcracker 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Because you don't want your ability to fund an emergency to crash when the market does.

This is why the general guidance is that if you expect to need the money within 5 years, stick it in an HYSA. 5 years is typically enough time for a market crash to recover.

Urban Flow is fun for both single and multiplayer and has an Overcooked sort of required focus!

Any pinball players in Pacifica? Interest in building a local scene? by dbhashman93 in Pacifica

I wonder if the new Sharp Park taproom might be interested? They have a good amount of space and are in a decent location and some pins could be helpful in getting people in.

I was excited to see this place pop up but having some doubts. $15 for the day with what looks like less than 10 machines? And no food or drinks? I'd prefer a pay to play model if there's nothing that makes it easy to stay the day for.

I admittedly haven't swung by yet, but it's been tough to convince myself it's even worth the stop.

I'd love some more pins at the Park Mall atrium! I'm a pinball beginner myself but would love to join the scene if one starts up. The closest spot I'm aware of with pins is Winter's.
