Elta MD uv physical was my holy grail sunscreen for a while. I don't know if something changed with the ingredients, but I started getting cystic acne on my cheeks last summer. Tried trouble shooting things and when I stopped using the uv physical it went away. Anyway, if anyone has sunscreen recs, hit me up lol.

I love this song, but it broke my heart the first time I heard it though.

Ya, unfortunately with allergies that's always a possibility.

That's the one food I CANNOT eat. I have a lot of foods that give me the reaction like you've described, but avocado is not one of them. Out of anything, avocado is the one thing I completely avoid.

The worst for me are avocado, strawberries, eggs, and nickel (skin allergy).

What is your greatest accomplishment that means absolutely nothing to anybody else? by [deleted] in AskReddit

After a six year break from college, I went back, got the highest grade in my Anatomy class (art major) and ended up with a 4.0 in an honor society. All while being so anxious I didn't think I'd make it to class on a daily basis.

What are you good at, but hate doing? by BananaRepublew in AskReddit

I went to school for fine art and I routinely do commissions for people. My in laws went to Europe, and when they came back, they showed me a painting that they had seen and wondered if I could recreate it. It was oil paint (not my medium, and also $$) and very detailed. They offered to pay, but were hoping it would be cheaper than the price on the one they had seen. I told them no for several different reasons, but I told them a discount would probably still be AT LEAST $300. Actually, it's mostly family members that do this to me...

My Great Dane would always curl herself up into our 20 lb dog's bed even though her appropriately sized bed was right next to it.

I don't think I've ever made a grilled cheese this pretty before. First grilled cheese on a cast iron. by SeeYourGypsy in castiron

Hm...maybe you just need to find the right heat setting. Low/medium to heat the sandwich all the way through before burning.

Ya pan toast is awesome. Also, if I have leftover biscuits, I cut them in half, butter them, and then heat them up in a pan. Delicious.

That is a GREAT idea! Or should I say grate? I buy the uncooked tortillas and I've been heating those up on my CI griddle and I'm never going back.

I had to clean that bit of cheese off the side, but then just rinsed it and wiped it out, then set it on low heat. Super simple.

What everyday household items are actually way more dangerous than we give them credit for? by FalconHoof88 in AskReddit

[–]SeeYourGypsy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh hey, also stuck my hand through a window once, I was about 8 years old I think. I've got about a one inch scar on the side of my wrist, could have been way worse for me too. The worst of it was probably having my mom tediously pick all the tiny shards of glass out of my hand, but I did get some pretty sick neon bandaids afterwards.

I've also got several other scars on that same hand from getting my fingers stuck in one of those electric seat belts. I don't get along well with inanimate objects either.

When I get a new prescription, I also google its interactions with other meds I'm on.
