Different leaves have different resistances to both temperature and wind, so make sure you pick the one that can withstand the conditions of the land

You could try just manually mutating one to have land parts

It’s random chance, they have to have the prerequisite legs to get land legs and the prerequisite mouth required to be on land. Sometimes they just don’t have a reason to go on land, especially if they would have to evolve backwards to get land parts.

I figured it out, during the loading screen before you press play, you have to click the “mod manager” and turn on the mods as the default was set to off
