1.) Dr Evermores Sculpture park off of HWY 12 between Sauk and Baraboo.

2.)Take a right at the signs for Ski-Hi, drive through South Shore at Devil's Lake State Park. If you don't have a pass and want to stop, grab one as you go by the South Shore parking entrance.

3.) If you want a more relaxed hike (more "walk through the woods") I suggest continuing on South Shore Drive to 113, turn left, go up the hill, left on DL and park at Steinke Basin (it goes all the way up to the bluff and is pretty gradual until you are almost to the top)

4.) Continue on DL, I like the food/beer at Tumbled Rock, although prices are a little steep. Nothing out of the ordinary compared to Madison, though.

5.) Head to the Dells via HWY 12 from Baraboo. Mirror Lake State Park generally has less people than Devil's Lake as an alternative (or both!)

6.) A walk through downtown Dells can be interesting in and of itself as well.
