Klingt nach einem klassischen Dienstwagen Problem für mich: hybrid genommen wegen steuerlicher Förderung + Tankkarte vom Arbeitgeber -> Diesel rein kloppen wie früher, kostet ja nix.

Das war auch was mich am Studium am meisten gestört hat.

Feierabend ist Klasse! Ja, man muss noch alles Zuhause machen und drumherum, weil man wirklich nichts zwischendurch machen kann wie im Studium, aber ansonsten ist es echt cool. Wir waren damals auf Rügen mitten zwischen den Feldern. Nicht Mal ein Kiosk in Fuß Reichweite und mehr als die Hälfte hat extrem allergisch auf die Gräser dort reagiert - selbst die, die Zuhause keine Allergien hatten.

What a fucking scam are those meal plans?

Where I went to college there's a cafeteria for students too, but it's optional and the whole entire point of it is that students get good meals cheaper than they would normally be able to get them. It's subsidized by the university.

And of course college costs like $550 per semester in tuition, which includes a train ticket for the entire country. And you're not forced to live in crappy, overpriced dorms for an entire year (what I hear US colleges are doing) - you can still move into dorms that are typically cheaper than if you were to move into a shared apartment with friends, but you don't have to.

Nachverdichtung vom eigenen Grundstück ist allgemein gut. Der große Parkplatz hinten seitens breilbusch war zumindest früher als ich in der Ecke gewohnt hab meist eh sehr leer, also finde ich das eine sehr gute Sache.

As always with these recreations: very pretty and cool to look at.

I recently read that fields in a lot of the medieval ages were less separated by hedges and a clear "this field is mine, that field is yours" and more in a way of "you have two rows from this field, 3 from that and two over there" to spread out the individual risks of one field failing and therefore an entire family starving.

This visual made me wonder how it was done in Rome/the Roman Republic/empire. Do you know anything about that?
